I’ve had my rug gripper about two weeks now. Chose it because of the good reviews, extra padding and mid price point.
I have it under a Navajo large area rug on a tile floor. The rug has no backing and is not as heavy as most area rugs. So far everything has stayed in place beautifully even with two dogs sharing the space.
I was concerned that my auto vacuum cleaner would have issues with it because of the added height. It has been able to cross it at all areas but the corners. And it doesn’t raise or displace the rug or pad.
I unrolled it and let it breathe for twenty four hours before covering it. It did have a slight chemical smell that went away within that time.

This rug pad may be good on room size rugs but honestly not for runners and smaller. I have wood floors and the rug either slips away from the mat or many times the entire mat shifts with the rug. Always having to adjust it.

I am very satisfied with this product. We have a long hardwood-floor hallway with one 12-foot and two 8-foot runners. With three rambunctious cats running down the hall, the carpets were flying everywhere! The rug pads really helped stabilize the runners and also gave them a more plush comfortable feel. There is still a slight bit of movement between the carpet and the pad, but easy to straighten. The pads were a little hard to cut with scissors, but easy with a utility knife.

This rug pad cuts to size with a pair of scissors very easily. I like the thin padding ,it will preserve the carpet without raising it to high. It's a thin rug in a high traffic area I didn't want a trip hazard. It is on a brand new wood floor I hope it doesn't stick, time will tell.

We bought the thickest pad we could find to put under our area rug. People who has bought the rug complained that it wasn't as thick as they thought it would be or should be. Well, this pad resolved that issue. Walking soft and comfy.

Excellent Product for Between Carpt and Rug.
We bought the pad to solve a problem of wrinkling of a rug laid on top of a carpet. The mat is keeping the rug very flat and unwrinkled. We are very satisfied with the product.
