Rated 5 out of 5 by from I liked the shower head so much I ordered a second one for another bathroom. The spray is strong,... I liked the shower head so much I ordered a second one for another bathroom. The spray is strong, even and comfortable. On one shower head, I removed the plastic water restrictor. If it is not in too tight, it can be screwed out. The spray was so strong, it was like the spray from a fire hose. I ended up putting the restrictor back in and drilling a hole just a little bigger than the one in it. It was perfect. If I needed to, I could have drilled it a little larger, but I did not need to. The water stream in our other bathroom is rather weak. For this bathroom, we removed the water restrictor entirely. In this bathroom, the stream is still weak, but the spray is a lot better than with the previous shower head we had. This shower head is a great buy for the price, and we are very happy with them. We did not use the pipe extension and disk that come with the shower head.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, No-frills Showerhead The diameter is only 2'-1/2", so I'm not sure where the 3" measurement comes from. After purchasing, I went to my local Home Depot store and saw that they are carrying an identical-looking showerhead for $4.99, so the $16 that I spent for this one seems relatively overpriced, but it's not worth the time and effort to send this one back. Functionally, the showerhead is fine, and why wouldn't it be: it's essentially a bunch of holes in a piece of plastic. I took out the plastic regulator (philips screwdriver is all you need) to assure good pressure, and it delivers as one would expect. Overall, it's a good-functioning, simple showerhead that because of its size looks cheap and utilitarian, and it's probably no-better than the $5 version in the store. I don't know why no one sells a minimally stylish showerhead sized between this little thing and the 10" rain-shower size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Required adjustment Overall, Yes, I would recommend . . BUT. I was looking for a stronger flow in the shower. Installed as it came in the box, the flow was wimpy. So my husband enlarged the waterflow restrictor inside a little. We like it better now. (Yeah, I know, we are using more gallons per minute.) This head was highly rated and inexpensive. Easy to install.
