Well, I did not believe American Standards answer, so I drilled it anyway. Worked like a champ, I bought a diamond grit hole saw with a guide and water bowl, made perfect holes, now I am able to use the 4” bathroom faucet we wanted.
Please go to our website, click on Professionals and then Technical Documents. Enter your model number into the search box and it will pull up all current documents that we have available on that particular model.
This model is available with one and three holes: 0341.008 for 8" centers and 0342.001 for the single hole.
I can't find anywhere on our spec sheet or instructions that this sink is barrier free. It is not considered to be barrier free.
There is no sink or model number listed for me to know which one you are referring to.
