I bought three of these toilets, plus three non-electric Bidet...
I bought three of these toilets, plus three non-electric Bidet Seats. The new interior finish on the toilets keeps them very clean. Good flush and quiet refilling of the tank. Love the Bidet Seats; wish I had known about these years ago. Nice slow-close lid, too.

Exactly what I needed
My house is very old and I needed a toilet with a 10 inch rough-in and a round bowl (hard to find!) due to a small space. I also wanted a toilet that was energy efficient and comfort height, and this toilet fits the bill. The flush is SO quiet. I was worried that the energy efficient toilet would not be strong enough, but this toilet has plenty of power. Well worth every penny.

Flushing power, great for small space, comfort height
Needed a 10" rough in for a new bathroom install. Pretty expensive but hey when you need a 10" what else can you do. When I ordered I was told a delivery date 2 months out. Luckily it came in about 2 weeks. Did not come with a seat, but did have a wax ring. Like the comfort height. Only problem in design is where the water supply line connects to the tank. It is such a tight space that I could not turn the connector end because the 2 longer plastic fins on the end of the supply line would not clear the bowl. Easy enough to file them down to the length of the other tabs. Other option would be to install the supply line on the tank before attaching the tank to the bowl, but that's not how the instructions read. Makes you wonder if anyone at American Standard ever put one of these together.

Overpriced, easy to install
Bought this because I was putting it into a small bathroom and thought I might need a 10" rough in. I did not, I could have used a 12" and saved $100.
There was a small blemish on the top surface of the bowl. Don't think it was from shipping but toilet was dropped off without signature or chance to inspect the contents. Blemish was small and would not have sent contents back, but think a $300+ toilet should NOT have blemish.
Very easy to install, Sig. other appreciates the extra height and self cleaning issues. No adjustments were needed. My second American Standard and will probably buy another this summer when I renovate the basement bathroom. They work and they flush everything.

Beware of Home Depot and Incompetent NSD Trucking
Bought 2 toilets with scheduled delivered and installed in one day. NSD said toilet will be ahead of schedule, and date cannot be changed because "Home Depot is our number one customer." Ultimate Plumbing thankfully obliged.
On delivery date, 3 boxes came that had 2 toilet bowls and a tank arrived. Warehouse should have seen that 2 toilets could not equal 3 boxes. When I called NSD and Home Depot, no one was able to locate the mixing item. Plumber refuse to come and install for 1 toilet.

This American Standard toilet performs beyond my expectations. It truly needs only one flush and is quiet. The linen color is exactly what I wanted. I am extremely pleased with the Cadet 3!!

The toilet was easily installed by our handy man and we had a non-electric bidet seat installed - also easy. It flushes great and is much easier to clean and keep clean than our last toilet. The plumber recommended this model as a solid product well-worth the price. I wish we had 2 more!
