After extensive surgeries, I love the height, the elongated seat, the no slam lid/seat and the dual flushing! It's much more compact than my old setup - it has surpassed all of my expectations. Thank you American Standard and Home Depot!!

Easy Install
I’ve never installed a toilet before, and installing this toilet was so easy I kind of wondered, is that all? Nervously turned the water on and it works perfectly. It needed slight adjustment with the water level but the instructions were clear and I managed just fine. I needed a toilet to fit in my very small bathroom and never dreamed I would find one on the shelf at HD, and at such and affordable price. Still feel like it might be too good to be true, I guess we’ll wee

Many issues including ghost flushing
Really unimpressed with my new toilet. I went to HD to purchase a Glacier Bay model (which I've installed in the past) but my eye caught this Cadet 3 Dual Flush Flowise priced $60 off. They also had one that was Bone colored price at $58, but no more stock and I couldn't buy display. I'd call that a deep discount and now I know why.
I have never purchased a toilet that needed so many adjustments and it's still not right. Toilet install was straight forward, what happened next is just a matter of poor build quality (in my opinion). I turned the water on and after a minute the toilet tank/bowl was filled (I thought, no fill line visible on tank). I soon realized the fill valve didn't shut off due to the float being way out of adjustment. I adjusted as much as I could and then realized the adjustment stem is deformed, I had to actually push the float down the rod since just turning the rod did nothing. At least I got the fill valve to shut off, but where was the water slowing going? Thank goodness for some youtube videos that mentioned the gasket at the bottom of the dual flush mechanism. I took that off and it appeared the gasket wasn't sitting flat. I took the gasket off and turned it over, that helped a lot, but over the course of a few hours the water level will drop ever so slowly causing the flush valve to activate and bring the tank back up to it's proper level, whatever that is. May take 3 hours to trigger it, but it shouldn't leak at all, this is a NEW toilet. I did check the overflow tube and water is about 1/2" from the top, which is what is recommended.
I left the lid off for the next couple of days, cleaned the gasket again and cleaned all other surfaces in contact with the gasket. Still seeing the water level slowly drop. I thought maybe the gasket is different on one side than the other, so flipped it back to it's original position, ghost flushing still continues. Put some food coloring into the water and after a few hours could see a slight tint in the toilet bowl water, I'm guessing the gasket is still not sealing 100%. Now it came time to put the lid on which I hadn't done since purchase. Went to flush the 1.0gpf side and the only way to flush is to hold the button down. Well at least I found adjustment instructions for that issue. Took about 10 minutes to get it right.
Due to all of these issues and trying to research solutions took me probably 4x longer to install this poorly built product (so much for saving money) ... and it's still not right. My Glacier Bays came out of the box, I slapped on a wax ring, set them on the flange, bolted them down, hooked up the water, done! I didn't even bother to see what country this toilet was made in, if the US, I'm ashamed. If Mexico or other country, still no excuse. Nice that it has a 5 year warranty, I'm hoping to make it one year. VERY disappointed with my purchase. Even though I got a great deal (I found out 2 days later HD will not sell this model any longer, now I know why), American Standard would have done right and tossed these toilets in the trash rather than let such product go to market. What do I need to make it right, pretty much every part in the tank or a replacement tank with all the parts installed!! Stay clear and find something better, especially if this model has been discontinued (per HD).

Needed to replace an old low profile toilet. What I liked about this unit, is that it his higher than the old one, and saves water when flushed (I liked the two Button flush options on the top of the tank). It was easy to assemble and mount. Keep in mind, this is a two person lift due to its weight (I learned the hard way and my back was hurting for a few days). This unit was worth the price. Recommended for seniors (like myself) and those with leg issues.

Easy to install
Easy step by step directions. All the parts were in the box. Dual flush feature works great. Glad I replaced both of our toilets with these. Excellent job American Standard.

Serious lid/bolt design problem, otherwise good
Design flaw in the bolt/lid area, see pix, oblong hole with a round bolt?! Seriously, no matter what you do the lid isn't ABLE to stay in place, American Standard should have to recall/replace all of these - and we installed 2 before we knew

Bathroom upgrade
Installed this toilet in both bathrooms about a week ago. Previous toilets were an old round style. I am very pleased so far. Pros: fits small bathrooms well ( 15 in tank width and under 30in back to front ),dual flush, slow close seat. Cons: seat hieght- I thought the extra height woulnt make much difference, but being short (5’5) it actually does.

Purchased two. Nice product. Only issue is the tank wobbled after professional installation on one of the commodes that didn’t sit flat against the wall. Issue was fixed and both are now stable and look great!
