    Installation was easy! Standard mount so you just remove the worn seat and replace with included hardware

    I removed the toilet seat to clean underneath. Now the black piece that holds the screw is gone and the seat can not be tightened.

    I would go back to the store u bought the seat from and tell them ur box was missing the Black piece and the toilet seat can't b tightened without that piece. And they'll give u one. Thank u!

    Installed this on a Cadet comfort height toilet. After a month of use it is still working properly and closes slowly down once slightly pushed. Looks good, cleans easily and works as promised. installation was simple as I have done many of these but there are lots of parts. If you haven't done one before just read the supplied instructions.

    The measurements seem wrong.
    I measured my toilet before I bought this. According to the Home Depot website, it said the seat length was 18.31". But when I got it, I found it too short. Indeed, when I measured it, it doesn't even go to 18". Because of false measurements. Please check photo attached to make sure I'm not crazy.

    For the seat and cover to stay up on its own without dropping, I had to hold it completely open for about 10 seconds. Otherwise it keeps falling when I don't want it to. This may be insignificant to some, but I found exceedingly annoying. Also, the covers over the screws that hold it on the bowl are very fragile and held on with a sliver of plastic. One broke as I was opening the covers (gently) to install. I have since replaced it with a KOHLER K-4636-0 Cachet Elongated White Toilet Seat for $2 more that stays up as soon as I open it fully without having to pause at the top for a bit, and has much sturdier screw covers (though the attachment is a different style, quick release, so not a direct comparison).

    Seat is slightly narrower than a previous one we had so it does not fully cover the toilet on the sides. We have it for a week by now. It is also made of a much thinner plastic. When you it in the closed lid you can feel how it caves in, flattens, and spreads on lids legs. It has a slow closing mechanism.  Under the seat part surface is not flat - hard to clean.
