Cheap stuff! Cheap quality
Bought two one seat bolt loose and seat come off. Second one flush water valve not working. Bought flush water valve and had to install again.

Smaller than my old one
This toilet is smaller than my old one. Had my old one for about 10 or so years. I had to hold the handle down in order for the flushing cycle to complete. With this one, it is quite powerful and efficient. It appears not to use a great deal of water. It’s crazy to say this, but I love this toilet. And if I ever need another one, it will be the same one, or one that is similar.

On-sale replacement for a round-front Toto, which I found uncomfortable to use sitting down. This Cadet3 has so far been quite satisfactory. Minimal water usage, efficient flush. I replaced the tank handle for aesthetic reasons, but the original worked just fine. Unit is slightly narrower than both the Toto and the original contractor-grade unit, but not enough to be a concern.

Toilet runs
I was wondering why my water bill was so high. My son just informed me that it keeps running. The fill valve is is in corner of tank and keeps getting caught up on the side of tank so it keeps running.

I would have given 5 stars, but the tank wobbles and I don’t believe that is normal, but the Home Depot installer assured me it was tightened properly and shouldn’t leak. So far it hasn’t. Other than that the toilet is a good height and makes it easier for my husband to get up. It flushes good, too (even with being a water saver), not like our old toilet that always got glogged up. Wasn’t too sure about the plastic seat, but it seams to be sturdy and I like the soft close. Toilet looks nice and is easy to clean. Hopefully it will work well for a long time.

Poor glazing and squeaking toilet seat
The toilet was installed by a contractor and withing 2 weeks a stain appeared at the bottom of bowl. Cleaning didn't help, so felt the porcelain and is was rough. The rough area even aborbed that blue color from the toilet cleaner. Obviously poor glazing. The toilet was replaced and now the toilet seat is noticable squeaking each time sit down or get up.

NOT GLAZED PROPERLY
If you want a toilet that looks like it has a dirty ring around the upper part of the bowl all the time, then this one's for you. Apparently American Standard is not glazing under the rim nor glazing the entire bowl. My toilet literally looks like it's never clean thanks to the sloppy glazing. I thought American Standard was a good company. I was wrong. Don't make my mistake, thoroughly inspect your product after purchase. I've missed my return window on this one & now have a toilet I can't use.
