I have a new R120SS valve body and the Colony Soft T675.507 trim kit but the chrome push on cap is too long. It won't provide enough space to access the set screw on the cartridge stem. Is the Colony Soft kit not compatible with the R120 valve body?

hi, I have an American standard pressure balancing shower valve unit #m952100-0070A what trim kits will fit this valve? thank you for your help
Asked by 74956 February 5, 2016There are several types of cartridges that can be used with that same pressure balancing valve. There is not a way to determine compatible trim kits without know which cartridge you are using, or which model you currently have.
I have a 3 year old Colony Soft which I removed the shower head as little water pressure suddenly. Took off shower head and water barely comes out 1'. Cleaned pres. bal. unit and cart. seals. Neither helped for water pressure. Hardly used shower. Why?

Does this faucet control volume and temperature, like a single-handle kitchen faucet? Many are just on or off, and I want to be able to control the amount of water. Can I use w/a hand shower, w/o shower head or tub spout? If so, please suggest what kind.
Asked by pfernandez December 2, 2015This model uses a temperature and volume control valve. The tub spout port can be capped off if you do not wish to use it. If a hand shower is preferred over the shower head, you would need to also purchase a shower arm bracket, part # 8888.096. For more assistance please call our tech support @ 1-800-442-1902.
I have an American standard valve that is about 10 years old and I want to change it out for the bronze color. Is the option available or do I need to change the valve out also?

I need to replace an American Standard shower trim kit that has a 1992 American Standard valve without replacing the valve. Any suggestions?
Asked by Rupwil August 4, 2015The valve in the wall will need to be replaced from 1992. The newer trims will not fit the older valves.
