No, not included. You need to buy the overflow drain assembly separate. The customer service desk can show you where the part is. The part is specific to this tub so make sure the two match up. It is carried in store here in Colorado. The part number can also be found in the instructions for the tub install.
Sarah, You can use Epsom salts in your American Standard Everclean tub, simply make sure you rinse the tub well after use. Your American Standard Consumer Connection team.
The front panel to the right is removable. My understanding that this was designed to access the water pump being as the bath can also be a jacuzzi. From this access it seems impossible to access the left grain and pipework. It may be necessary to cut into the left panel that is fixed to access the drain and plumbing which is located to the left of the bath. You could have an issue if you require a permit for a repipe and have a final inspection after installing this bath tub. Luckily we have and inspection panel in the wall where our bath is situated.
There is a roughness in the bottom of the tub. I still use a tub mat to aid with comfort
mine is on the wall.
Frank, You will need to use mortar as bedding material (do not use sand or foam). Apply enough mortar to support the complete bottom of the bath. For additional installation information scroll down to the Info & Guides section and click on the link for the Installation Guide. Your American Standard Consumer Connections Team.
The one that was send to me was acrylic. That why I sent it back. The tub I ordered was supposed to be americast.
Our plumber poured 150 lbs of concrete underneath the tub to ensure its stability.
The inside dimensions are not the exact same. If you scroll down to the Info & Guides section on both of the tubs you will find a link to the specification sheets, which will show you the differences in the internal dimensions. Your American Standard Consumer Connections Team.
Please use approximately 160 pounds of mortar.
