Sprayer does not retract.
I don’t know if the weight just isn’t heavy enough or what - but I have to manually push the hose back in to retract the sprayer. It’s a pretty design but I absolutely hate this lack of quality.

American standard kitchen faucet
I Purchased the model Fairbury 2S.
Five days ago and had a plumber installed it without opening the box and looking at it. Big mistake …
If I knew the thing was plastic,
I wouldn’t have purchased it. It looks okay the water pressure is fine.
The handle is not smooth, And the faucet could break if you put too much pressure while cleaning it it’s fragile. The sprayer splashes a bit and the pressure has to be on high for it to stay on.
For the price I guess you get what you pay. Time will tell
I’m budgeting now so much for returning it, and calling the plumber back.

Looks Nice
Bought to replace my broken faucet. This one is more of an upgrade from what I had. It was really easy to install however we just about finished everything only to find out the sleeve that holds the connections together is missing. I have it zipped tied for now till I can figure out next steps since the store is closed. So disappointing.

Give it a chance, make sure washer screen is clear
Easy to install with lock nut and screw design. Pause button only works if HELD. Very low pressure will only have stream, unless spray button is held down. Normal water pressure, the stream or spray words as designed. YOU MUST unscrew the head and clear any debris from washer/screen as directed. Plug utility sink holes with 3/4" electrical plugs (see Picture) if the deck plate gets in the way.

Took a chance
I read the reviews, quite a few said something about the sprayer not retracting or breaking right off the bat. Package arrived today. Just looking at it in the box the sprayer was not retracted all the way. There is a tab you have to line up to put the sprayer back in, it won't stay, and if I pick up the faucet, it just falls out. It hasn't even been installed....just opened. The only way it will stay retracted is if the water line is pulled so tight that it couldn't be used as a hand held sprayer. My old faucet is broken and can barely be used, have waited for this to arrive, now it looks like I'll need a replacement. Very disappointed. I went with this brand in spite of some of the reviews. I've been ordering take out since doing dishes in any form is quite challenging with my current broken sink, between the cost of take out, this sink, and the time I will have to wait for a replacement is ridiculous. And that this review has to be 500 characters, I'm just typing now to get to 500!!

It leaked from the handle immediately after installation, which is a manufacturing defect, not an installation mistake.

Best faucet
Excellent faucet. My old didn't work. This one is higher and now I don't have to bend over to do the dishes. The water pressure is awesome.

good quality for affordable price
needed a replacement faucet because the budget model purchased 10 years ago finally started falling apart. noticed that style wasn't made anymore I started comparing entry to mid level high arch pull down hose with integrated spray button. got tired of the endless selection online I decided to just drive up to the store for some good old fashioned browsing. glad I did because I like to see the display models and feel the weight of the packaging. I ended with 2 boxes in front of me. this and a Kohler that was 100 more. not outside of my budget but having purchased american standard faucets for my 2 bathrooms in the past I was not worried about quality but really functionality. hate to take apart and return after installing but that wasn't needed here. integrated supply line hoses make install to 3/8 fitting easy. needed to replace the shut off valves because they were both trash. one was clogged and preventing full flow of hot water. everything working great and looks good too. warranty for as long as you own it ! this box does not come with the soap dispenser but honestly who uses those ? I never used the one that came with the old faucet and it ended up getting clogged from lack of use.
