This tub ain't cheap, but I am extremely happy with it. I discovered that the Roman faucet included with this tub costs almost $700 itself, but it is really sweet, it connects with 3/4" flexible hoses (also included). Fills the whole tub in less than 5 minutes.The chromatherapy lights are worth it, I'm glad I went with that model. The soaking depth is very important, pay attention to that feature! This tub has a 38" (or so) soaking depth, and I would NOT go any more shallow than that. There was a leak when I did my test run before bringing the tub inside, make sure you test it before bringing it in the house. They quickly sent me all required fittings to make the repair, note that you have to follow the instructions on the manual to get assistance. I'm guessing most people will have to hire someone to fix any leaks, so that could be frustrating, but that's life. Finally, if this tub is for someone that has very little mobility with their legs... don't buy an inside-swinging door, get the outward-swinging door even if that means having to wait longer or paying more. You're going to want to crank up the water heater setting in order to get a nice starting temp... the 15-amp inline heater really kicks butt, they say it only 'maintains' temperature but I'm pretty sure it raises the temp over a 30-minute period, very happy with that. The tub is supported by (6) adjustable feet, they are very solid, the tub does not move.. it's built like a go-kart. I've never installed a tub like this, it was not overly difficult, but I did go slow. I used rubber couplings with the hose clamps to make the drain connections, though I had to open the drywall opposite the front of the tub so I could complete the connections. You will need some kind of access through that wall, I don't know how else it could be done, but I'm no pro.

Stands behind their products
My first tub wasn’t tested or installed correctly. I had a Terrible builder! AM STD stepped in and sent a whole new tub and I supervised testing & installation this time. Other than a poor door drain design, everything seems to be working. If this builder ever fixes and finishes my home-I sure would like to take a long bath and really test all the features!
