    Answer This Question

A:  A washout urinal uses a 3/4" spud and feeds the water through the rim holes and dilutes the liquid in the bottom pushing it out. A blowout urinal uses a 1-1/4" spud and has jet holes at the bottom forcing water out more powerful.

Q:Does the 80 PSI static Pressure mean that the domestic supply coming in needs to be at least 80 to generate a 20 PSI at valve?
        by|Sep 18, 2014
        1 Answer
        Answer This Question

A:  No not necessarily…..80 psi static is the pressure of water when it’s not flowing but this number varies constantly, but as long as the static psi is 20 or higher, most of our fixtures will function fine. 80 PSI is just the maximum static we recommend. 20psi flowing is the minimum for our fixtures to work.
