Questions & Answers

What is the difference between the American Standard #2390.202.020 bathtub and the

A.S. #2391.2021ch.020 bathtub, besides the price? Both are called The Princeton.
Asked by: detail dude
The description says it has a luxury ledge that is 4 in wider than a normal ledge, but I find this hard to believe since the specifications say it is only 30 inches wide. The response from American Standard says the difference has to do with the drain. I'm still a bit confused.

Does this tub require a mortar base for final installation?

Asked by: homeowner2
Never use mortar, too much sand and breaks down. Use a product called Structolite (plaster of paris) no sand.
