how to install a replacement cartridge on a Quince signle faucet/

AnswerPlease see the attached repair parts diagram. It is an exploded view which should help you. You will need a 3/32 allenwrench to remove the set screw. http://www.americanstandard-us.com/assets/documents/amstd/parts/Parts_5690.pdf
Is this fixture appropriate for outdoor use? Specifically, is it frost proof?

AnswerNo, I would not suggest using any of our faucets for outdoor use. They are not manufactured to function properly if they get too cold or too hot.
Wish to buy this to replace an Hampton (2770.712) faucet. It is installing on the Silhouette (7185.813) 18" Island Sink. The 3-hole spread is only 4-inches with maximum escutcheon length of 6.5-inches. Do you sell a shorter escutcheon for this faucet?

After an exhaustive search for a reasonably priced oil rubbed bronze bar faucet we decided on this one. Very happy with the look and quality of faucet. It goes nicely with the rest of our downstairs bar area.
