Great product; Great Value
I love that these just slide snugly onto the downspout. It easily flips up & grips the downspout. They're more attractive than the "accordian" type extenders & don't lay on the ground like splash blocks, so grass can still grow there.. My only thought is that I will probably keep them in UP position if expecting a lot of snow. It's fairly lightweight, so may bend, warp, crack or break from too much snow weight.

I would recommend these flipper downspout extensions to anyone. They make trimming and cutting grass so easy. I put them up a couple I use a small bungie cord to hold them up, then I trim & cut, afterwards I just go back around & flip them down. Super easy, wish I got them a long time ago.

Works TERRIFICALLY!! I've purchased many different items to circumvent water flow away from low spots or from around the house foundations. This product did the trick. I just hooked it to the downspout, positioned it away from low points and house, and put a large nail at the end to hold it into the ground during high winds. I even plan to paint it the same color as our gutters. When I need to mow in that area, I just flip-up the extension at the swivel point, mow up close, and put it back down.

Does what it is supposed to for a good price.
So far so good. My only issue is that it is made of plastic, so the big question is how long will it hold up? It was easy toninstall, but be aware that you may need a new elbow if your existing one is bent out of shape.

Good idea
The nice feature about this item it that it will flip up out of the way which is very important as the lawn service in my development would just run over it with the mowers if in their way.

There was a bit too much material behind the connection to lift the pipe, but it was relatively easy to cut. Seems a bit flimsy as well but was a welcome solution to the problem of water draining too close to the basement across a sidewalk we need to roll trash cans.
