Product Details

FLEX-Drain helps you get the job done faster and easier, with professional grade durability and more versatility than traditional corrugated pipe. Flexible and expandable, FLEX-Drain easily bends around any obstacle, hold its shape during installation and with a simple snap, its integrated soil-tight fittings lock securely and stay connected during backfilling. The FLEX-Drain 4 in. x 50 ft. Solid Polypropylene Pipe is ideal for channeling water from 1 point to another. This solid, expandable pipe will only let water seep in or out at pipe ends. FLEX-Drain is a complete drainage solution system that's widely compatible with virtually all traditional 3 in. and 4 in. corrugated pipe and 4 in. PVC. Technologically superior, it's made with no-break copolymers and exceeds all applicable ASTM crush standards.
  • 50 ft. of length, contractor preferred - reduces the number of fittings required to complete a job
  • Solid polypropylene construction for durability; proprietary peak and valley design offers greater surface area and a 30% higher load-bearing rating than standard corrugated pipe
  • Made with no-break copolymers
  • Incorporates seamless extrusion technology
  • Made for tight spaces and curvy places
  • Adapts to fit 3 in. and 4 in. corrugated pipe and 4 in. PVC pipe (not included)

  • Perfect for commercial, DWV and underground applications
  • Only allows water to seep in or out at pipe ends

    Answer This Question

A:  Unfortunately it doesn’t that I could find. I ended up drilling a few small screws to attach directly to our gutter downspout. Not perfect but works fine

A:  I'm not sure, but for some connections I successfully used an approximately 6 inch piece of regular corrugated drain pipe.

      by|Nov 9, 2022

A:  There's no "trick": the connection is made using a 4" "O" clamp that tightens over the 4" plastic pipe once it is inserted around the connector on the catch basin. The "O" clamps are relatively inexpensive and can be tightened with a standard screwdriver.

          Works well
I needed something to route the water from the gutter a few feet away from the house. This met my needs.

Fully expanded, the pipe is 21’8” long. Fortunately this (barely) worked for my application.

Worked out fairly well for a quick fix. The adapter used to attach the pipe to the downspout did not fit tight. Used duct tape , (handyman's secret weapon) to connect them.

This is an excellent toy for young children, as they can extend it and use it to play with toy cars to shoot them down the staircase. Also, they like to yell into one end, while another child hears out the other.

This worked perfectly for my need to extend my downspouts away the house. It cuts easily, bends, extends & collapses for easy summer storage. I've purchased 2 more since my original purchase.

I installed it about one month ago and have no complaints. I like the fact that it is retractable according to need. There has been no heavy rain since it was installed, so it has not been strongly tested, but I don't anticipate any problems.

I needed to divert water from a downspout with additional product, going on the drive way to water some bushes. works good when raining. Save water and money by changing the flow of the water with the Flex-Drain.

This is a light duty water transfer pipe. I had a rainwater collection project to fill my pond and needed some thing cost effective to connect into a main line. This pipe fit the bill. I saved about 50 -70% of the price on a heavier duty pipe cost. Just remember this pipe is not meant to have any heavy traffic on it, You really want to install it in a no traffic area. I ran it down the side of house. It was super easy to install just stretch it out dig your trench and cover. This type of will bend and over around tighter curves much easier than the heavier stuff making it a lot faster to install. I had a about 2 inches of rain the next day and the pipe performed as expected with no leaks.

              Just What I needed
The downspout from my roof gutter runs under the lawn and dumps off a bluff above the creek. This was a wet winter and the bluff has been terribly eroded. I plan to attach this pipe to the PVC and run it down the hill. One of the benefits of this pipe is that the ends are different sizes. One end screws nicely onto 4" corrugated pipe. The PVC is 3 inches, thus an adapter will have to be glued on to connect this pipe. The expanding nature of this pipe provides easy shipping and easy transport when bringing it home in the car. Being flexible it will conform to the contours of the bluff.
