It’s a nice design for drain pipe it’s easy to store and doesn’t take up a lot of space. I stored it in the corner of the back room of my house and it’s not really noticeable.
It’s a lot easier to carry then the big round rolls.
I used the drain pipe to extend the down spouts off my gutters so I could keep water away from foundation. Drains wells and was easy to install. It seemed to lay in the trench a lot better then I remember the round roll did.

I would start off by complimenting how they made 10 feet not seem so bulky. Great solid 4 inch durable pipe good for gutter drainage. I am using this to hook up 2 gutter feeds and move the water away from the house. I like the flex every four feet. Allows for easy maneuvering. They sell attachment that allow you to split it and even a Y to add in a gutter feed. The pipe is very durable but not a pain to cut.

The "FLEX-Drain Pro 4 in. x 100 ft. HDPE Solid Drain Pipe, Black", is an excellent product. Its design, allows you to make sharp turns every (4) four feet and to run 100 feet of flex drain pipe without any elbows or couplings. The savings are fantastic, installation, storage, and staging. Fewer fittings mean less chance of leaks into or out of the pipe.
I liked and I recommend it.

When we moved into our home, we had a number of drainage issues. The flexible drains to the street were broken and incomplete and we needed to replace a large run from our backyard to the street. This 100 feet run of solid pipe is the perfect product for the job. It's sturdy and hold up well. It's easy to use and the 4 inch capacity is more than enough to handle the water and rain water run off that we're dealing with. If you have property drainage problems this may be the answer. We purchased a hillside home perched high on three descending acres and the natural erosion from heavy seasonal rainfall was stripping away the good garden soil around the house. Wanting to curtail the soil loss I installed lengths of the FLEX-DRAIN HOSE. They’re presently connected to the rain gutter downspouts where it starts. That redirects it away from the house. So far so good. I laid it down in the low spot and once I’m convinced it has the flow under control, prevents further erosion, and delivers the water where I want it, I’ll rent a Ditch Witch and trench it deep enough to cover so I can mow over it. This will enable me to replace the lost topsoil up higher after the spring thaw for a proper garden.

We got this Flex-Drain solid drain pipe along with another 100 ft. of Flex-Drain perforated drain pipe in order to channel rainwater coming from the roof down to our garden. Our house is on a hill, so gravity works. We used the solid pipe where we just wanted to move water, and perforated pipe to distribute throughout our garden and orchard. It is very sturdy, and the flex portions make it easy to bend it where we want it to go. Dealing with 100 feet at once is difficult, though, and if we didn't need the sturdiness, it would have been easier to just buy the 10 foot sections.

We received this Flex-drain pipe from UPS. The manufacturer placed the pipe in a large cardboard box for shipping. The box was not very heavy. It is nice to know this can be ordered and shipped via UPS for delivery.
As you can see in the picture of the bundle, the flexible portion for turns and bends can accommodate a very tight turn if required.
Our drainage run will be under a driveway. We plan on running the Flex-drain inside a 6" SDR 17 HDPE pipe for protection so it will not be crushed by traffic.

THE FLEX-DRAIN PRO 4 IN. X 100 FT. HDPE SOLID DRAIN PIPE (BLACK), is a really very nice product to use. It is very durable, and yet very light as well. It has flex built into it, so it is very easy to bend the way you need it to go ! I use this for keeping water away from my foundation, and it works much better than them little 6 foot pieces you can buy ! You can cut this as long as you want it, and it works great !

I got this for a project I have planned for Spring (ground is currently frozen in NY). I own 12 acres of land. It is one of the original Homesteads in my county. Over the years, the surrounding land has been developed, and the rain, that would have been absorbed by those parcels, is now running onto my property. It does not help that trees have grown up, and their roots are now blocking natural drainage routes. I got this solid drain pipe to drain the pools that form on the higher areas. I plan to get perforated pipe to French Drain the flatter areas. I choose this specifically, because I am single and do everything myself. I want things I can easily move. This arrived in a cardboard box, which was difficult to handle, but as soon as I removed the cardboard, I could easily move it with the binding straps.
