I asked the same question but Sales associate could not advise any answer. Best guess is that white is more popular color and they can charge more by selling individual pieces.

Great product except if you have maple trees
Well made, durable, excellent fit and finish. What I like most about these was that there was no lip along the outer edge where debris can build up (like the cheaper plastic ones). HOWEVER IF YOU HAVE MAPLES, it holds onto the seeds for dear life. This is my Gutter AFTER I got up on a ladder and blasted it with my leaf blower. Apparently the almond-shaped slots are like a key hole for maple seeds. They drop in and either have to eventually erode or be handpicked (which ain't gonna happen. So yeah, overall, very impressed with the the product but just be aware of this drawback which may affect some of you out there.

Works very well at keeping leaves, gunk and pigeon poop out of the gutter and down spout. It didnt fit my gutter perfectly with the ridge to keep it in place snugly so I had to just lay it there without securing, that's why only 4 stars.

See photo. The gutter gaurd carries some of the water over the gutter. This product looks like it should work great. It just doesn’t.

Easy to install; however, those with a bit of anxiety will fret because the joints are uneven and will not match perfectly unless one overlaps each piece (I did not overlap). The product is easy to install ( I did not use screws - why would you? - to attach to the gutter lip), the product functions exactly as stated and at present is in fine shape. Gutterguard quoted 2700.00 for the 126 feet of gutter I have (yeah. do the math on that). This product was about 230.00 give-or-take a buck or two. Well worth the money!!

A Good Choice For The DIYer
I have 25 + yrs experience with the plastic snap ins (with the diamond design) and with the plastic snap ins with ( with diamond design and screen meshing, lately). They both install easily and do a fair job at keeping leaves/debris out of the gutters, however over time they do warp, sag and become mis-aligned,which then allows the leaves and debris to blow into the gaps, eventually the guards have to be removed and gutters cleaned. The Hoover Dam guards are rigid, which makes them better than the plastic snap ins, they install fairly easily and the screws secure them in place well, however,I give them a rating of four on quality only because the runs in different boxes are not consistent, the leading edge/screwing surfaces are slightly off with the pattern/which means the edges don't match up perfectly, but the fact that they are fairly rigid the mis-alignment is only slight.A trick I learned while installing them is to run a healthy bead of silicone caulk over the joints, when it cures the joint becomes solid solving the gap issues,it works well, actually locks/stiffens the sections together.I do believe the shingle grit will still get into the gutter over time, but I vacuumed out the gutters thoroughly prior to installation,I most likely won't have to worry about it again in my life time. I just had a new roof installed and was contemplating having new gutters installed based on the roofer's suggestion, however after careful consideration, why spend ~three thousand dollars for new gutters and micro mesh guards, which in my opinion really weren't needed,so I spent $500 for these Hoover Dam Guards and installed them myself,I'm satisfied,I believe I'm set,a good option.
