yes one size will fit 4, 5 and 6" gutters
There sure is. I never had a problem with icicles before but now my spouting is lined with icicles. I wouldn’t get again, wasted my money.
they do not keep pine needles out.. i had to replace gutter guards 1 year old because of this problem
They just slide between the roofing and the roofing underlay. Most of the time it doesn't cause a problem
I butted them up against each other
They should but since pine needles stick in about anything, it might stop most all of them. You might try putting them in a small bad section and see.
I'm presuming you meant to say you could not tuck them under the roof as you stick them under the roof and the other end that is curved goes on the edge of the gutter lip on top of any gutter hangers that are already there. On the down spout these use some small sheet metal screws to attach it to the gutter if needed. You can also take a pair of tin snips to cut the cover to the size you need.
Saw some white at my home depot.
It depends on whether you have much over hang from the metal roof. I would suggest just buying one and try and see if it is adaptable.
