Got two types of Amerock wall plates. One of them was Candler 1-Rocker Wall Plate in Oil-Rubbed Bronze (#BP36504ORB). No complaints to construction or quality - just excellent. Shape (design) is also OK; matter of taste. Installation was easy - just flat driver and two screws. The only thing that concern me (and it somewhat common trend nowadays) the plate is somewhat smaller than old fashioned one and exposed imperfections on my kitchen wall. Not a bit deal to fix with extra grout application. Though, I was not planning on that... Nevertheless, the plate is good and worth of considering.

I have an outlet behind a wall shelf that allows me to plug in items on the shelf. It is in a bathroom so I needed to upgrade the outlet to a GFI type outlet and I thought now was the time to make the outlet a little more stylish, like it was there for a reason. I have all dark bronze plumbing fixtures in the bathroom with antique metal shelves. A small statement like this really made the outlet interesting. I am really happy I decided to go bold.

Handsome switch plate, all metal construction, with a finely detailed finish seemingly just not possible with plastic. This is a standard size plate so keep that in mind when using as a replacement since the existing one might be larger and covering up some kind of sin best left unseen. Might be a good idea before purchasing to remove the existing plate and take some measurements of the wall opening to compare to the dimensions of the new one.
Available in several other high-end look finishes.

This is a very good looking wall plate. It is a solid metal nickel with an edging that gives it a classical look. I think the edging is nearly the equivalent of what's called an "ogee" router finish on the top and bottom of the wall plate. The sides of the wall plate have a smooth finish that give it a nice visual contrast. It has an upscale appearance.

I would say that this 3 rocker plate is a nice improvement over the traditional white plastic one...
I would say that this 3 rocker plate is a nice improvement over the traditional white plastic ones that come with the house. The oil-rubbed bronze plate adds a little touch of elegance to a plain wall. My 2 gripes with the product was with the painted screws and the size of the plate. If you are not careful, a screwdriver that misses it's mark will scratch the finish off of the screw and becomes a tiny eyesore for those of us that have a keen eye. The plate is on the smaller side so if you have a bigger hole than normal for your switches, you'll be able to see the hole. Not really the product's fault but more of an FYI for anybody that wants to replace their wall plates with these!

These rocker covers look nice!
The metal rocker switch covers make the old crappy plastic white and cream coloured switch covers look like, well, like crap.
Thay are a snap to install, just make certain that you have the correct size screwdriver tip size, and be very carefull not to drop and loose the screws that come with the switch cover, they are HARD to find once you drop them!
