Awesome gardening tool set!!
This is a great tool set for working in the yard and garden. The handles have gel inserts that make using them very comfortable. Any impact while digging or cultivating is damped by the comfortable grips. The tools appear to be very high quality tools. I would strongly recommend to anyone that does any amount of yard work or gardening. Definitely tools built for the professionals!!

A for comfort, C for design
These are well-made high-quality gardening tools. The gel grip is very comfortable for use, but the cultivator middle tong is short which makes it awkward to work with. If not for the design of the middle tong on the cultivator I would give this set five stars. The tools are very sturdy in hand and should last for many, many years. These are made of stainless steel so if you happen to leave them out in the rain you don’t need to worry about them resting.

superb quality
ames really made the perfect garden tools with this set. the handles are the greatest i’ve ever experienced. they are so comfortable to work with. first off, the rubber is so nice for maintaining grip and there’s a thumb track for stabilization. additionally there are gel pockets that squish slightly when gripped. it’s very nice and very interesting.
these should last forever. made from stainless steel so they won’t rust and they’re extra durable. the cultivator tines are very thick so it should be no stress to give hard soil a good dig. the trowel is also exceptionally thick. everything about these tools is high quality and for ease of storage they both have holes so they can be hung up. ames stands by the quality of these tools for 15 years, which is very impressive.

Best garden tools and made to last
This is the best set of garden tools that I have ever used. They are made of stainless steel and then coated with a bright chrome finish. The handles are very ergonomic and feel very comfortable in your hands. I have 10 flower and garden areas that I maintain around our home and have used and broken many garden tools that after a few years just break or the handles get lose and worn. This set by Ames comes with a 15 year warranty. I planted some flowers today and they worked great and when I was finished the dirt just washed right off. This is a quality set that is made to last a lifetime. Very pleased with these Ames garden tools.

Excellent quality
I am so pleased with this Ames 2-piece garden set. They are well made and substantial. Both pieces are made of stainless steel and the handles are ergonomically designed for a good grip. The trowel is strong and slides easily into the soil (even heavy clay). The thick prongs on the cultivator and great for breaking up the soil to make weeding easier. Highly recommend.

Works Great. Borderline 5 star with a bonus (see review)
So I’m not sure why the description says “2 piece set”. It actually comes with two trowels (narrow, wide/medium) and a rake.
All three work great. In addition to using them ourselves, we shared them with the professional helpers that help us maintain our gardens.
Everyone agreed that they are strong, well made, and get the job done.
I took off half a star because my mother has small hands and said the thick wood handles, while great in their overall design, are a bit large for people with smaller hands.
Bow whether they stand the test of time, we shall see. But so far they seem like they can take A LOT of force and really aid in getting at the roots and breaking up tough ground. The rake is particularly handy and a nice addition. It helps get all the waste material together while also functioning as a spot tilller.
Zero complaints other than the thickness of the handles. Again, the shape of the handles and the finish to the wood do otherwise feel great in the hands and give plenty of grip while being easy to clean.

Very well-made!
These are very well made garden tools. I have owned Ames tools previously and was happy with their quality, but these show me that Ames has made improvements over their already great designs. The grips are comfortable and sturdy and the working ends are made to withstand years of use. This garden tool set is about as well-made as anyone could hope for. I highly recommend it.

Glad I chose This Set
This Ames 2-Piece Garden Tool Set with Ergo Gel Grip Handles - Hand Trowel and Hand Cultivator is a good sturdy hand tool set. There is nothing more frustrating than have tools that bend or rust or are not comfortable to use. You will have none of these problems with this nice 2-piece set. This set should provide many years of service. A new gardener or a seasoned gardener will appreciate these well made tools. I love having extra tools around for my yard. Not only can you plant with these tools, you will also be able to dig out small weeds. I like to get weeds out before they go to seed. I am glad I chose this set.

Excellent Heavy Duty Garden Tool Set
The Amex 2-Piece Garden Tool Set with Ergo Gel Crip Handles - Hand Trowel and Hand Cultivator, Brown and Green are an Excellent Heavy Duty Garden Tool Set. The heavy-duty stainless-steel construction makes for a very durable tool and the ergo gel grip handles makes for a comfortable gardening experience. This is probably the nicest garden hand tool set I've owned. I like this garden tool set and definitely do recommend this fine Ames product.
