This product is one of the worst things I have ever had the displeasure of trying to use in my yard. 15 year warranty, my left foot. The blade detached from the handle 30 minutes into working with it. The blade came right out of the end. Quality control failed you at your factory. Thanks Ames for making me have to make another trip to the store to get my money back and then go to another store that sells yard tools other than your brand.

We started are vegetable garden's by clearing out area's and then use the Hoe to clean out the area's. It removed rocks, roots and other things without any problems. It saved us a lot of time and was light and easy to work with because of the metal fabrication and the wooden handle. We've had it for 60 days and also used it to make the rolls in our Garden's. I would recommend maybe creating a serrated edge one the edge instead of a smooth edge. We STILL recommend this Hoe very highly. One last thing all our Vegetable plants were bought at the Home Depot also. :-)

A good Hoe, made in USA
It is an excellent and durable product. If you use it as it should be, you will not be disappointed. It really does the job as a hoe.

Not impressed - it broke the first time I used it
I purchased this hoe in order to amend the soil in my garden, which consists of really heavy clay. The first time I used the hoe the wood handle split and the metal cover over the end of the handle fell off. Due to the split the head would no longer stay in, rendering the entire hoe useless. If you have light or sandy soil and want something cheap, then this might be fine. I would strongly recommend spending an extra $10 in order to get a sturdier hoe though.

Pretty basic hoe. Matches product description. I’ve never owned a hoe before, but I was surprised how many times I have to hack at weed roots before they cut/break. Saves my back which makes it worth it, but sometimes feels like I could deweed faster by hand.
