poor quality
Had to return after initial installation. 125 psi, and hose burst immediately. It's the second one from the same location. I thought I just got a bad one with the first, but after two did the same thing it's time to move on.

Receipt number : 2915 09 33291 06/10/2014 8682 (original purchase date) It seemed to be a great hose at first, but then i learned (the hard way of course) that the first one I bought had not been crimped all the way down on the ends. Needless to say, it blew off and beat the mess out of me before my 200psi 15 gal Dewalt could empty enough to calm the 50 ft pneumatic nemesis! (I would have left but the whipping wench was blowing dirt and dust all up in the transmission that I was so peacefully repairing up to this point. I was down on the ground when suddenly I experienced at least four blazing whiplike licks to the lower portions of my body! Before I ever realized what had taken place. My first thought was, the wife, she's had enough, and then I had a quick flashback to my younger years when Mom would get after us with a wild cherry limb,... but that couldn't be, for I had done nothing to deserve this terrifying torment more less I wasn't a kid anymore! Then it hit me (literally too) the air hose!!!! I got up, I ran, I came back, I ducked, I jumped, I danced, I screamed, I screamed some more,... and then, somehow, I was able, at some point, in the midst of that hurricane Katrina like replay, to focus just enough (through the layer of shop floor particles that had just been caked to my corneas) to get one of my pain stricken and hose beaten feet on top of that pyscho serpent and bring her to submission. After gaining control of the situation (and regaining conscience), I realized what took place and then returned the product under the three year warranty period. I was not too fond of my Amflo product and wanted something different but it had been right over the 90 day money back exchange time frame so I had to get one just like the one that had made such an impact on my life. This new (and pre-verified) tightly crimped rubber hose has not lived up to bring quite the excitement of it's predecessor, but has some of it's own negative qualities I will share with you in order to keep you from experiencing what I've been through in my relations with Ms Amflo. (1) if you leave this hose in the sun more than a day, it will turn white and dry crack. This took place within the first month of ownership of the replacement hose. (2) if you screw a fitting down tight, the brass hex head will strip off before the fitting comes loose. The hex area is not wide enough to get a wrench in between the crimped part and the female coupler body this results in not being able to remove or replace your couplings if they have been on for a period of time. I recommended this product to a friend before I had the sunshine/dry crack experience with mine and his hose stripped too. However, his hose still looked pretty good because it stayed inside but we replaced it too because you can't splice them without chasing leaks from cracking. (3) when the hose becomes dry cracked, you will constantly be cutting and splicing it back together because the hose starts splitting wherever you splice it or put a hose barb on it. (4) I do not have a photo to enter to win the $1,000 product review because, well, who thinks to take photos of an air hose in action??? Well heck, I might dig it up out of the scrap bin and enter a photo with me resplicing it or something. That grand could help offset some of the pain and suffering I experienced during my relationship with that Amflo rubber wench.

      Pure junk
thought i was doing my self a favor and purchased this expensive 'RUBBER' air hose.....lasted a year and started dry rotting and burst, i only used it indoors too. Stay away, appears to be some kind of inferior synthetic rubber from ??

        NICE GOING
Good construction. Easy to use, doesn't kink up like cheap hose and isn't difficult to wrap up in cold weather like the plastic type.

Far better than the hose that came with my compressor
I purchased a porter cable pancake compressor and was not thrilled by the thin hose that came with it. I picked up this one and I have been happy. It does not kink easily and the overall feel is nice.

Failed after just under 3 years.
Hose burst, quite unexpectedly, during normal use. My compressor is set to 125 psi, and this hose has never seen any pressure higher than that. The use during those 3 years was very light, as well. It MAYBE got used every other month.

          Awesome nail gun hose
Extremely flexible and lightweight compressor hose I use for my nail guns. I have found it to be very easy to move around without getting tangled or kinks. Such a vast improvement compared to the original hose my compressor cam with.

          hose does not last
The hose failed after a couple of years. Scared the heck out of me and I only have my compressor set at 110 psi

Great 50 foot air hose for pneumatic tools.
Even though it is a little cumbersome, it is great to have the 50 feet of hose. It gets me places my 30 footer wouldn't.
