Yes you can but from my understanding the Manufacture does not Recommended
They elevate your burning material and act to insulate the bottom from the embers. If you end up converting to gas, it helps to hide the burner and acts as a bed to put Fire Glass on.
It should be fine, but it would be better to have a small amount of adhesive in between the layers. Not too much as you do not want it to melt and drip out...
The inside diameter of the fire pit liner is 35 inches.
This fire pit kit metal liner is not welded, it has 58 piece of stones and include 1 metal fire ring. Each stone is weighs approximately 18 pounds. The total inside diameter of the fire pit is 35 inches and 52 inches outside diameter.
Mine was $79 but it is "curb" delivery. The delivery driver put it at the end of my driveway in the middle so I could not get in or out until I moved the entire stack by hand. They never called to set up the delivery window either so I was not home at the time.
The metal liner is 9" deep.
