Throw out the directions
Tried to use directions and even watched an installation video but ended up just winging it. Only one of the two of the hinge holes lined up. Directions were not clear to me at least on what side of the door the sweep went on, now I need to find two small screws to cover the holes I drilled, tip, sweep goes on the inside. Once I ditched the instructions the remainder of the installation went great. If you have any logic and mechanical ability you should be able to figure it out. I was a little nervous drilling the holes for the lockset, but it came out great. Had to flip to the latch around on the lockset to accommodate my swing opening but figured how to do that in about 2 minutes. Looks wonderful and our dogs love being able to look outside. Very happy with it. going to buy another one for the back door, should take me about half the time I'll give this product a 9 out of 10.

Great doors, love the hidden screens. A little more involved with putting it up. Definitely longer than 45 minutes & really takes 2 people & for us it was not Oops proof. Still, overall we love the doors & have already had complements on how they look.

love it hate it love it
The door is beautiful pretty easy to install however only had it for about 8months and the screen has popped out on one side and the mount on the bottom that attaches the lock open mechanism has snaped in half while closing the other night now im affraid it will shatter the glass because there is nothing to stop the door from hitting the stucco just something to be aware of not sure how to get or if i can get the part to fix it before it breaks completely and no idea how to fix the screen

Poor installation instructions, great door.
This is a very nice door, the self-storing screen is very nice. It looks good. But, unless you can read Anderson's mind, you should pay to have this door installed. It took me 6 hours.
Very limited on character count here, but short version: the instructions are terrible, and they require a ton of interpretation and inference. Example from almost the first step: "Attach all four hinge leaves to the door frame using unpainted 1/2" screws ..." No instructions to drill holes.

Not-quite-2-hour installation
“2-hours and you’ll have a free swinging door” is more accurate. My skill level is by no means professional, but certainly not a beginner either. BIG NOTE: They wait until after you have a free swinging door to tell you that you need a 7/16” drill bit.

36" 2500 SS White w/Nickel HDW
I bought this in September and had it professionally installed. After 1 1/2 month the closer started leaking black liquid everywhere! I do not recommend this product at all.
