do you have just the fixture that attaches to the pole?

If referring to the sanding head, yes we sell that independently as part number 82612. If referring to an adapter for the pole to convert to female or to fit a different attachment then we do not.

I think we have a problem with this review. The item advertised is different then the one I received. I tried to get some help but got none. So the best thing I can think of doing is review both. I have been a carpenter for seventeen years and have used both models so I can give you an reliable review on both. First the one I received, See photos, PICT0022 and PICT0023. The handle and sanding plate are good quality. The universal and claps are not so good. See photos, PICT0025 and PICT0026. In PICT0025 the universal binds and plate will lift on its side and causes scratches. In PICT0026, The edge on the knuckle goes thru the plate and will scratch the sanding surface. In photo PICT0023 you can see round tube sliced down the middle for the clamp and they used a low quality wingnut. If you look at the tag that comes on the handle you will see the number on the upper right corner. If you use that number to find it on Home Depot page you will find #308729474. Now for the one in the advertisement, In photos #308729474-1 and #308729474-2 you can see the knuckle has a narrow neck so there is no binding. The clamp is made on pressed aluminum and has a easy to handle wingnut. This is the only thing I can do to make this as ownest as possible. I hope this helps with your decision. Good luck with all your projects.

My next door neighbor brought me a present today. Apparently the Anvil Pole Sander with Wood Handle I had ordered earlier this month was delivered to our neighbor. My neighbor was wrapping presents for Christmas today and saw the package was mine. Though a pole sander is not what I would expect for a present it is finally is in my possession. The sander is very sturdy with a strong metal plate and easy to clamp fittings to hold sand paper on it. The handle is long though this one is a bit rough in places. The overall product is well designed, sturdy and it will be used a lot as we are remodeling portions of our house and workshop.

As we are remodeling a home we found that this pole sander will cut your drywalling time down tremendously. When you are taping and texturing all the seam sanding can be a chore at best . With this pole sander it makes this chore so much faster and easier you wont even realize that you are doing it an absolute must when doing ceilings I highly recommend this pole sander

It isn't necessarily a better mousetrap, but this Anvil pole sander seems more refined. I've been using an old Ames pole sander from Belmont, California for many years. While the function is basically the same, it is crude by comparison to the Anvil, which is made in China. And, the materials they used way back when are heavier than today's, which can mean a lot if you have a lot of sanding to do. This tool is well made and easy to use. I expect it to provide many years of service.

Works as it is designed to do... My only small concern is that the handle doesn't seem to tighten very well when screwed in.
