I had considered purchasing one of these tools years ago but thought a 5" spackle knife would work just as well -for the most part, I was not wrong. However, if you are working on larger drywall finishing jobs or do a lot of drywall finishing work, this bucket scoop does save time and potential mess as it does scoop and hold more spackle than the knife I typically use and does so with less mess. I am not a drywall contractor but still spend tens if not 100+ hours a year finishing small to medium sized drywall finishing jobs and highly recommend this tool for anyone who does more than just the occasional drywall repair.

What a great idea!! Everything seems to come in 5-gallon plastic buckets, but getting everything out of them sometimes is difficult and wasteful. This fits the curve of the bucket perfectly, so scooping out items like drywall mud, concrete, various other solids, powders, or semi-liquids is easier, more precise and faster. This is an item that belongs on the list of “genius inventions”. My only (minor) complaint is that it was difficult to get the label off.

ANVIL 6.5 in. Stainless Steel Drywall Bucket Scoop Industrial grade stainless steel blade that will not rust & the contour blade edge is designed for easy scooping inside bucket. The Dual-molded handle features comfortable, non-slip rubber grip that is very easy to hold in your hand and is made of Nylon and not hard plastic. It works well in scooping out a bucket or you can use it like did after seeing it with my grill to flip burger & hot dogs. It is much easier to use than a large spatula and is very easy to clean. The contour blade makes it very easy to use on the grill.

This is a really good scoop. It is a perfect fit for any 5-gallon bucket and has easy feel with an angle in the blade to make the scoop work well. 1-gallon pail might be too tight. Good quality flexible stamped stainless steel. The scoop has a really comfortable, high quality handle that will fit most hands. The handle is riveted to the blade and cannot be removed.

The scoop needed more thought. I tried using it in a small bucket of pre mixed mud, and had a really hard time getting mud off the side walls of the bucket. Might be better in bigger bucket. Haven't tried yet

This tool is great! It worked better that excepted, scrapped the 5 gallon bucket clean. Wish I would have bought it sooner.
