The ApolloPEX 1/2 in. Brass PEX Barb x 3/4 in. Male Pipe Thread 90 Elbow is simple to install. ApolloPEX barb fittings are a key component of the most economical potable water piping systems. Also capable of integration into hydronic heating systems, ApolloPEX elbows can be secured into place using copper crimps, stainless steel pinch clamps or stainless steel crimp sleeves (all sold separately). The ApolloPEX system is a comprehensive piping system comprised of brass fittings, poly alloy fittings, manifolds, valves, fasteners, tools and tubing designed for implementation in water delivery systems, simple or complex.

can this one using cinch/pinch tool to clamp not the ring?

AnswerThe Apollo 3/4 in. Brass PEX Barb x 3/4 in. Male Pipe Thread Adapter 90° Elbow can be secured to PEX pipe via a copper crimp ring or stainless steel pinch clamp. If using a pinch clamp tool, then you will need to use pinch clamps when making a connection.
I couldn't find this size for the Apollo Pex-A. Could I use this on Pex-A pipe and fitting? Thanks

AnswerWe do not currently offer a PEX-A version of this fitting. However, this fitting is compatible with Apollo PEX-A pipe. To connect this fitting to PEX-A pipe, do not expand the pipe. You will need to use a crimp ring or pinch clamp.
Does this really have reverse threads or did they reverse the picture?

AnswerThe Apollo 1/2 in. Brass PEX Barb x 1/2 in. Male Pipe Thread Adapter 90° Elbow does not have reverse threads. The threads on this fitting are MNPT (Male National Pipe Thread).

Excellent product. If you are attaching this piece to a PVC fitting you will need to use twice the amount of pipe tape as you would normally use, I applied 8 layers to avoid leaks.
