About This Product
The Apollo ExpansionPEX 1/2 in. Chrome-Plated Brass PEX-A Barb x 1/4 in. Compression Quarter-Turn Icemaker Tee Valve is a unique design that allows flow control to the outlet of the tee. It was designed with retrofit ice maker and water filtration installations in mind. The 1/4 in. compression outlet provides the capability to install 1/4 in. O.D. tubing or 1/4 in. supply lines. Apollo ExpansionPEX fittings must be secured into place Apollo ExpansionPEX sleeves or comparable expansion-type sleeve or ring (all sold separately). The Apollo ExpansionPEX system is a comprehensive cold expansion piping system comprised of brass fittings, poly alloy fittings, manifolds, valves, fasteners, tools and tubing designed for implementation in water delivery systems, simple or complex. A cold-expansion tool (sold separately) is required for installation.
