Flat pex tubes require no uncoiling. Be careful to not bend them in transport otherwise you will cause them to ger out of shape.
PEX is easy to work with and the connectors are amazing to work with. This stick was inexpensive, in great shape and is now deployed in a replumb project for a summer cottage.

No more copper needed....or a plumber
I had to replace a section of copper pipe in my daughters home, and it was a tight fit to sweat the new section. I reviewed other options and came upon Pex. Had great reviews, looked simple enough, and was less expensive the copper tube. Well, all of it was true. So easy, less time consuming, and it really eliminates the need for expensive plumbers. I'm having a new home built, and when doing the pre dry wall inspection, there was no copper for the the plumbing to be seen, all Pex. Will have to see as far as longevity, been this is a game changer.
