can PEX pipe be covered with cement/concrete mix??

can PEX pipe be covered with cement/concrete mix??
Asked by: Eddie
Yes, PEX pipe may be buried and covered with cement/concrete mix. Even though fittings can technically be buried too, we recommend using a plastic fitting if necessary and wrapping it with a silicone based wrap. Brass fittings have a higher chance of breaking down over time when buried in concrete.
