This innovative and patented Twist-In polypropylene 3/4 in. elbow connects 2-sections of IPS-sized polyethylene pipe or hose to one another. There is no restriction on the number of connections that can be made to achieve desire pipe length. For an additionally secure connection is recommended that stainless steel clamps are used to secure fitting to pipe.

poor design
these are terrible. I think the diameters of the small threading are smaller than the big threading and therefore have no bite on the pipe and do not hold. Even with clamps. pull these from the shelf and go back to the normal ones. I would gladly pay 20% more. and after it failed 3 times I would gladly pay 2000 % more. good idea for install bad idea for longevity

Looks like a wonderful solution to the difficulty of compression fittings. Wrong. It's just as difficult to connect. Worse, it only holds till the first hot day. When the first one blew off the hose, drenching the area for 3 days on a timer-controlled line, I assumed a fluke, and used a hose clamp to reconnect it. A week later the other side blew off. Repaired it with another clamp, and began replacing them with compression fittings. I thought I'd replaced them all, but today one I overlooked blew off on the same line, undetected for 2 more days. Yeah, they're cheaper, but you'll pay much more for using them. I'll be leaving this review for all the blue fittings I replaced.
