Can this be used for hot water heating piping ?

Asked by: Brendan
I'm not a plumber, pipe fitter, or HVAC tech, but I just had to chime in - If you are talking about heaters, as opposed to hot water, I would say the answer is NO. Pex is specified for use in potable water systems. NOT heating pipes. There are even two types of copper tubing. One for potable water and a different one for heating pipes (like baseboard heaters).
