The ApolloPEX 3/4 in. x 3/4 in. x 1/2 in. Brass PEX Barb Reducing Tee is simple to install. ApolloPEX barb fittings are a key component of the most economical potable water piping systems. Also capable of integration into hydronic heating systems, ApolloPEX tees can be secured into place using copper crimps, stainless steel pinch clamps or stainless steel crimp sleeves (all sold separately). The ApolloPEX system is a comprehensive piping system comprised of brass fittings, poly alloy fittings, manifolds, valves, fasteners, tools and tubing designed for implementation in water delivery systems, simple or complex.

A:  To make an 1 1/4 in. 90° turn with your polyethylene pipe application, you'll first need to attach a coupling to get from 1 in. to 1 1/4 in. This can be accomplished using Apollo item ABTC1114, Model #ABTC1114, Store SKU #1002245898, Internet #300813900. Then, you'll need to connect an 1 1/4 in. 90° Elbow, which can be accomplished using Apollo item ABTE114, Model #ABTE114, Store SKU #1002245966, Internet #300814156.     A:  This is a PEX-B fitting. However, Apollo PEX-A pipe is dual rated for both crimp (F1807) and expansion (F1960) type fittings. The fitting you have may be used with the PEX-A pipe, but must be secured via a crimp ring or pinch clamp. If you would like the equivalent fitting in PEX-A, you will need: Model - EPXT341212, STORE SKU - 1003276329, Description - 3/4 in. x 1/2 in. x 1/2 in. Brass PEX-A Expansion Barb Reducing Tee.

      A:  This is a PEX-B fitting that may be used with PEX-A pipe, but must be secured to the pipe via a crimp ring or pinch clamp. If you would like to use a PEX-A fitting with the PEX-A pipe and PEX-A expansion sleeves, then you will need the following item: Model # EPXT121234, Store SKU # 1003276275, Apollo 1/2 in. x 1/2 in. x 3/4 in.         A:  PEX A is the most flexible; no problem using this tee.

        A:  This fitting is for the PEX-B system which requires the use of crimp rings or pinch clamps to secure fittings in place and will not work with expanded PEX pipe. However, our PEX-A pipe is rated for both crimping and expansion so you may use PEX-A pipe with these PEX-B fittings by inserting them and fastening them with a crimp ring or pinch clamp.
