My wife got this napkin set. The color complements the decor she's selected for the dining room. Out of the package they have a fairly hard finish, perhaps from sizing or starching and they looked nice on the table. There is a "waffle" texture to them that I think is there to improve their effectiveness as a napkin, but my wife says I'm too technical , it's just to look pretty. She's probably right (she usually is). After a wash they get softer and some the crispness disappears. I have to wonder how the fringe will hold up after repeated laundering.
Following the laundry instructions for them keeps the color fast, but being all cotton, they would come out of the dryer wrinkled. That means ironing the napkins is required. Who has time for that today? My wife hung them up to dry to eliminate the need for ironing. In my opinion they would be better if they were a polyester blended item to eliminate ironing if tossed in the dryer or having to hang them to dry, But, hey, I'm just a tool guy, what do I know about fashion?

I got these in a pretty lavender color. They arrive in pretty packaging for gift giving. Out of the package they measure approx 19 x 20 including the one inch fringe around the outside. After wash, the color is still crisp, but there is shrinkage of about 2 1/2 inches all the way around. The fabric is smooth upon first use, but after wash becomes more of a knitted fabric. It is still quite large even with the shrinkage.

These napkins color wise are exactly as depicted in the photos which is great! But unfortunately the construction and functionality are wholly lacking. The napkins shrink when washed and are not a tight weave which leads them to wear more quickly than others.

This napkin set is of a beautiful light purple and more like a lavender color. They are cotton and soft to the touch with knotted frills for the fringes. The cloth material have some body, and feels soft and absorbent which make it ideal as napkins. They seemed to be easy care with just washing. The size is just right. Over all, it is highly recommended.
