    ar-200 spa review
took forever to come from wayfair, but they put it in my back yard for me. Great spa for the $1900. I paid for it last March. Had a leak problem after 6 months and found out labor is only covered for 90 days. They sent me the part for the waterfall where it was leaking and my son-in-law put it in for me. It has plenty of jets and works very well.

A Nice Hot Tub For The Price
This is a really nice tub for the price. The delivery took a little longer than expected, but it was worth the wait. The truck unloaded it onto a large tarp on our front lawn, and my wife and I were then able to move it to our back deck by dragging the tarp across the lawn (it weighs a bit over 200+ lbs empty). If you need to get it through a gate or a narrow opening, the tub can be put on its side and then carefully rolled like a big wheel. Rigid spas cannot be called "portable" by any stretch of the imagination, but this one is about as close as it gets. Fill up and initial operation was a snap. Just place it where you want it (providing it is level and can support the weight), put a hose in it, and fill. Plug it in to a 15 amp or higher rated outlet, and the pump / heater automatically starts. When we filled it a week and a half ago, the tap water was about 40 degrees. Outdoor air temperatures were running 20 - 30 degrees. It took a day and a half for the water temperature to get up to 103 degrees. Not too bad, considering. The pump is pretty quiet with the cover on, and there has been no annoying drone or noise to deal with. My wife and I can get a 30 minute soak before the water temperature drops down to 100 degrees. We have used it nightly thus far, and it easily reattains 103 degrees in an hour or two, even in these winter temperatures. The power of the jets is not exactly "hydrotherapy" strength, but they are more than adequate. The nine large jets have directional control adjustment, and they can be turned on or off individually. If you turn off the jets that are not being used, the remaining jets increase in power, and will give your back a pretty good pounding. The cover is a really nice quality one, but it does require installation of the clip retainers onto the tub. You have to drill several very small holes to do so. You will need a 1/16" drill and a small Phillips screwdriver. Just line up the cover where you want it, and then mark the clip and screw hole locations. Drill the holes in the outside of the tub, and then fasten the retainers to the tub with the included screws. Drill only about 1/2" deep (it will not go through to the inside of the tub, don't worry). It is a good idea to adjust the top carefully so that all four straps drape over the sides to the same height before marking the locations. We have not had it long enough to comment on electrical usage or longevity / durability, but so far, we are very, very pleased with the tub. We used to have a hot tub several years ago, and we have missed having one. We chose to get it from Home Depot due to positive prior experiences with them, and for ease in dealing with any warranty and/or service issues that might come up (we have a Home Depot very close to where we live). We wanted a nice quality small tub with basic features that would be comfortable for two adults, and this one fits the bill perfectly for us. You certainly could get four adults in it (depending on their sizes), but the comfort level would go down, and the water level might go over the top. Two medium sized adults and two kids would work, though. One size does not fit all when it comes to hot tubs, so consider who will be using it most of the time, and make your selection accordingly. All in all, this is a great tub.

I've owned mine since 2013, and this is before the stainless steel and other upgrades now. I can tell you it worked great - when it was up and working, and it really did help me with both knees and my back pain - we used Colloidal Silver as our choice of chemical. Well, The motor finally failed(it seized up), and purchasing a new motor for it isn't in the budget. So, I converted it into a fish pond last month, using an old in-line 380gal water pump. I'm still using all the original spas plumbing, filter, jets and waterfall feature, and have 8 Koi, 2 Pleco fish and a few live plants growing in it now. Sorry, I don't have a photo for you, as my camera broke a few weeks ago. Just know this spa did work great when it did, now it's back to heat/ice packs and tens unit for me. Cheers!!

My tub is still sitting in yard for 2 weeks now cause I need a electrician to add out on the line since the cord is only 12 ft which is too short to plug in existing outlet. I have a few but they are all busy.

Not durable, worked fine for 16 months then the plumbing started leaking. The plumbing is not as easy to repair or replace as a radiator hose or sink supply line because the plumbing is all covered in foam similar to Great Stuff.
