I am disappointed in UV Filter
The filter is listed to be complete. Trying yo find necessary fittings for in and out ports was tedious. I now have a reddish color in my toilet and black streaks. I assumed the whole system plus UV would not allow. Previous system did not show this abnormality

UV Water Filter
I love my UV Water Filter, it tastes like bottled water but better. My insulation was the worst experience I ever had. It took him 2 days. The 1st day it leeks from everywear and every place. The 2nd day over a half day and it's still leeks. The guy stated wait a few days and it should stop. It's been a week and a half ago and it still leeks. I bought the whole house system.

Harder then you think
We hired a professional plumber to install the unit, it tool much longer and cost us more than we ever thought it would. He had to call in to get instructions to install. The UV unite was broken when it arrived, it had to be replaced, when it came, it was complicated to repair it. If we had it all over to do it again, we would NEVER get this unit or do business with these people again.

This is a review of the whole filtration system,
I can't review the UV filter separate from the whole system, since it's all hooked together and I can't test the water for microbes. I purchased the whole system (descaler, chloramine filter and UV filter) and had a plumber install it. One thing I did notice was a very slight decrease in water pressure in the shower but not at any of the other faucets in the house. Perhaps that's because the plumber added ball valves in between each separate section of the filter so that each section could be isolated in case replacement was needed. Installing it in this way did add a bit more pipe length to the whole system. Anyhow, the taste of my water is now excellent! Its like having bottled water coming from the faucet. I'm a tea snob and can now use water from the tap to brew my whole leaf tea with very tasty results. Also, my skin doesn't seem as tight and dry since installing the filter. I've only had it for little over one month so cannot address how easy or difficult filter changes and maintenance are. However, so far, I'm very happy that I purchased this system!
