A Standard Tub drain or Waste and Overflow kit should work. It is a personal choice of finish.
There are reinforced feet or pads at the bottom of the tub to help keep it level.
I'm sorry to hear about your issue. If you go to aquaticbath.com and then go to the bottom of the first page, you will see a section for "Service & Support", under that tab, you will see "Warranty Service Request", this is a form that will allow you to submit your information and request for service.
As far as the DWO connection is concerned, there is nothing unusual and Most off the shelf Kits should work. Most of them are adjustable in their Length and Height, pick one that can cover 8.5" in Depth and 14.5" in Height.
OK, Sounds like we have narrowed down to the Overall size. There are a few other things you may want to research...finish being one of them. There is Gelcoat, Cast Acrylic, Hybrid (AcrylX, in between Gelcoat and Acrylic), Composite Material (SMC), stamped Steel and Cast Iron. ALL of these have Pros and Cons, and of coarse, different Price points. Also, the different finishes have different abilities when it comes to manufacturing...which allows different Shapes and Styles. I could write you a Novel about different things, but it will really come down to finding your Style and Price Point. If you aren't in a hurry, take your time and find something that works for you. I will leave you with one last item to research...Depending on WHEN and WHERE your house was built, you may have a Standard Drain Clearance and the Plumbing comes up from under the floor, but there is another method which is called AFR (Above Floor Rough), where your rough in Plumbing is run Above the floor, so you need something that gives you higher clearance than the Standard. Sometimes you can't see this until you pull the old tub out, or you have done previous work. I've always found it helpful to speak with some of your neighbors to see what works they have done on their homes to give you ideas, but also see what issues they may have run into. Also, the Associate at the Store, hears ALL the stories of the local area and they may be able to give you some advice. Anyway, hope this info helps and isn't too confusing.
Hi Rob, hopefully, you saw the answer in your previous request. If you are talking about Water Depth, then it will depend on your Outside the tub to the back wall dimension. But to give you some perspective, in terms of Skirt Height, you start around 15" and move up from there and start topping out around 22" (there are a few a little taller, but remember you have to step over and into the tub. If you want to look at the aquaticbath.com website, you can view our various sizes. Hope this helps.
From what you are describing, I would say YES, your tub is probably a 60" unit from Stud to Stud. So, back to your original question about the Depth...I can take that two ways...the tub measurement from Outside the tub to the back wall (Front to Back), or the depth of the bathing well (water height). For Front to back, you have many options starting at 30", 32"...then they usually jump to 36" then 42", there are some exceptions of options in between. The depth of the water really depends on the Front to Back dimension. Sorry to not be able to be more specific. If you can give me the other dimension, I can look at options. Thanks
I'm sorry, we don't have any units with a Length of 58.5"...are you measuring Drywall to Drywall, or is that Stud to Stud. Most Alcoves for Tubs will measure out at the Studs to be 60".
Hello, This tub can be used with a tiled wall or a prefabricated wall set. If you wish to install a shower door with this tub, you will need to use one of our wall sets due to the ledge on the tub below the flange. This will create an evan surface to install a door. We have a smooth wall set or a subway tile wall set. The part numbers are 6030FWS1-AW (smooth wall) or 6030FWS2-AW ( Subway tile wall). If you choose on of our wall sets, we recommend internet SKU's 305552597 or 305552595 for the shower doors. Thank you for your interest in our products.
Hello, When you install the tile surround, you can measure the inside width between the walls and the wall height from the top of the skirt and top of tile and select a door accordingly. The installation to a tiled surface should be included in the door manufacturers instructions . Typically the holes are drilled and plastic anchors are inserted. Thank you for your question.
