Is this hard bond or soft bond?

Asked by Eddie October 3, 2019

Answer

The 5" wide turbo is medium bond. Granite is usually cut with a narrow blade.

Does anyone know if this will work with my Ryobi Cordless circular saw?

Asked by Dan June 5, 2019

Answer

If the saw has RPM of 12,000 rpm. And if it holds the 5" blade? If both match then you can use with saw. If not then I would not try it.

Sure Can. I used this blade in my Rigid Compound miter saw and it worked like a charm!

Could I put this blade on my tile saw??

Answer

Yes, the blade can be used for tile cutting.

Will this work on a mitre saw?

Asked by Tim March 20, 2016

Answer

It may but, not really what it is meant for. Typically these blades are used with a water source and mitre saws are not built for that. Assume going dry would work but be slow and dull blade quickly.

The archer blade cut my 4x8 hi fired red bricks with ease where the abrasive blade wouldn’t cut at all. Made 100 cuts with no visible signs of wear.

Has done a great job cutting paver bricks. I haven't used it very long yet, so far so good after a couple weeks. One note though that mine came with a small adaptor to visually didn't look like an adaptor to my eyes. Just appeared to be part of the blade, so it took a while to figure out that I could knock it out to make it fit my saw. Wasn't the same size adapter I've seen on other blades (I think 5/8"), was more like 7/8") so kinda tricky.

I'm using the blade on my sliding compound miter saw to cut firebrick for a wood fired oven project. The blade performs well and shows no wear after weeks of cutting. I saved a lot of money buying this blade rather than renting a masonry saw for the job.
