Asked by Ann September 11, 2017Hi Ann, the Architectural Mailboxes 38 in. Steel 1-Mailbox Post in Black has a pre-drilled mounting hole pattern of 4-inches x 10-inches. I was unable to find the mounting hole pattern of the gibraltar PED0000B mailbox, but if it has a 4-inch x 10-inch mounting hole pattern, they are compatible. Thanks for reaching out to us!

how deep in the ground should the post be buried?
Asked by dan April 24, 2017This one is surface mount and not inground. Postal guide lines are 24" in the ground, bottom of the mailbox opening to be 41" to 45" from the road surface and the front of the mailbox to be 6" to 8" back from the curb.
