AnswersThis thing is very poorly designed. The post is way too short. The design relies a piece of 1 x 1 angle iron in the center of the post for stabilization . I would not recommend this product. I have to buy a five foot steel fence post Better off buying a 7 - 8 for four by four wood post.

Lid broke off
I’ve had this mailbox installed for two weeks before the lid broke off. The lid attached to the box by fully plastic bushings and plastic fasteners. Easy to see why two weeks of opening and closing would wear on these parts so easily. Very poor quality for the price. I’m already in repair mode for this new mailbox.

These mailboxes are very modern looking. I love the baked enamel bronze color. This type of process should keep the mailboxes looking new for a long time. They are large enough to receive my prescriptions. My mail no longer gets crammed into the mailbox.

ROXBURY POST MOUNT MAILBOX
Installed mine yesterday, Installation was fairly easy. This does not come included with a mounting base so one will need to be purchased. Other than that I feel like it was a fair deal. I purchased a plastic base and it had pre-drilled holes that fit the mailbox perfectly. The mailbox has a lot of room and the finished paint looked really great. Hope to use it maintenance free for many years to come.

Very attractive and plenty of room.
We have always had standard size mailboxes and a lot of times the mail was too much or too large to fit in box without them cramming it all in and damaging magazines and or boxes, so we decided to get a larger one and I wish we would have got one a long time ago. The box is very attractive and has plenty of room for larger items and is well made for many years of use.

Good those who still receive a lot of mail
This is a large mailbox that works as designed. Be aware that it is just the mailbox, it does NOT come with any mounting hardware (hardware is included with matching posts made from the same manufacturer). The front door opens and closes very easily and latches closed. If your mailbox is always full, this one is larger than the standard size and can accept small packages in addition to all regular mail (see picture). The silver flag is also very easy to operate, nothing gets stuck and it stays in place. I highly recommend purchasing a post from the same manufacturer, all the mounting holes lined up perfectly with no problems, so installation was very easy. Just needed two crescent wrenches and that was it! Perhaps the only problem is that the mounting bolts are large and they are installed inside the mailbox, pointing downward, so the head of the bolts are not flush with the inside of the mailbox.

Roxbury Post Mount Mailbox
This mailbox is under the brand of Architectural Mailboxes, is a post mount design, has rubbed bronze finish with cast aluminum knob and champagne flag that stands out. The galvanized steel construction is powder coated inside and out for added corrosion resistance. This is a large capacity mailbox, the front access door opens and closes smoothly. We installed with the Pacifica 3-inch round post with the same rubbed bronze finish. The mounting bracket was not included with the mailbox but was included with the post so they were a good match. The mailbox does have pre-drilled holes.
