Morning - this unit is UL listed but Massachusetts has other certification requirements that is the responsibility of the buyer or contractor.

Can the factory faucet be replaced with a delta tub faucet?

The faucets/valves are preinstalled by the manufacturer; therefore, we do not know if it's compatible with other brands.

This unit is a center drain but it is raised if you need to do a left drain connection.

I didn't measure it, but the cord is very long (multiple feet). One of the best features.

Is it possible to block the overflow to get more than 15.5" of water?

Asked by Irina December 26, 2018

To my knowledge it doesn't have an overflow (the sliver slit you see is actually a "waterfall" fill device). It really hold a LOT of water, in fact it drains my hot water heater. I can't imagine wanting any deeper. I'm thinking the 15.5 is an understatement, but I haven't measured...

Yes, you can push it up to the wall if you want because the drain is flexible and if you put flexible water lines and extra wire you can move it around because it’s not heavy

Does the tub have a feature to give you a jetted air experience?

Not that I can find, but you can control the strength of the water jets.

Cracked Jet Caps
My tub was installed by a plumber and he said it will be next to impossible to service it underneath if something bad happens, because there is only about 2 inches of space from the floor. Two years later, a jet cap cracked and leaked water through the floor and ceiling below. I suggest before you buy this tub, be sure to get as many replacement parts for the jets as possible and raise the tub up at least 4-6 inches on a platform so you can get under it in case of problems. If this would have been a pipe leak, it would have been very difficult to fix, as everything would need to be disconnected - I would also suggest a flexible (spa) drain pipe, as the tub vibrates quite a bit and could cause that to come loose as well.

This tub is nice and big. Nice and deep for soaking too. I know that is a little oversimplified. But these will be the selling points for this item. I think it's like 91 gallons. A huge plus among the freestanding tubs. It took us a while to settle on one. So glad that we waited. It really is ginormous...taller folks will appreciate:-)

The first tub we ordered showed up with several scratches on the front side. However, Home Depot was great about picking up the damaged tub and delivering a new one. We like the tub a lot, but here are some minor cons. If you want to use the jets, it does take a while to fill it. The water level has to be almost 2 inches over the top set of jets. The radio isn't the best. Where we live, only a couple channels come in. We usually just hook it up through bluetooth on our phones. The touch screen is a bit touchy to get to turn on/off. When the lights are on, you can see the wires through the front side of the tub. Pros: very roomy, looks sharp, jets feel great, lights provide a relaxing atmosphere and seems to be working great so far. We priced out an air jet freestanding tub that ran around $5000 and that was without all this tub's features. It's definitely a great buy for the price.

Once it breaks, it’s over
Piece of garbage. Cant be repaired once you have have an issue with the pump. I’ve never dealt with worse customer service than that of Ariel. Do yourself a favor, don’t buy this junky hunk of acrylic.

Lots of features, but some quirks: - It is really 2 pieces, which perhaps is necessary, but it really shows. The 2 pieces creak and groan a bit when you get in and out in particular. - you can only turn on the jets via the electronics, which seems odd, since there is a mechanical pressure level knob. Just having that know work the on/off as well would be more logical and less dependent on something electrical that may not function. - speaking of which, it has a water temp gauge, which is nice, but only seems to work once you are in the tub. It reads room temp (which is obviously wrong) before you get in, but once you are in, it rapidly increases to the (presumably) correct temp. Odd. - water clearly does not drain from system when you shut it down, which is not good. You can tell, as when the jets come on, you get briefly blasted with cool (and potentially unsanitary) water. PS, Home Depot delivery was a nightmare.

This tub is nice and big.
This tub is nice and big. The jets are fabulous. It is an amazing tub for relaxing after a long day and I highly recommend it to other prospective buyers. FIVE STARS. It is a perfect all-in-one unit. We use it daily, and we will use it tons in the future too. My wife relaxes in it every night, and she just loves the colored lights, the bubbles and she enjoys long soaks with the jets on. We get a lot of compliments on this tub from our friends and family, It makes my bathroom look very stylish. It fits two people comfortably and the built-in radio is the perfect touch. The hand shower is so convenient for cleaning out the tub and washing your hair. The fixtures are all mounted on the deck too, which is awesome. To say the least we love this tub!

easy installation and attractive look
Very easy to install, according to our guy, and the bluetooth speakers are perfect. Works exactly how it is supposed to work. The user guide didn't help when I couldn't figure out the remote but that's probably just me not being very tech-savvy, lol.
