It just happened to mine. I didn’t need to replace it. My father wrapped the tire tightly with a rope and added air back slowly. As he added air he slowly release the the rope and the tire was as good as new. He said something about the seal just needed to have some pressure inside and out and it will reseal itself.

Review of initial assembly and short test run on dry surface. The crate the unit is shipped in is impressive. Very sturdy box and strapped down to a pallet. Assembly instruction placed on top and easy to follow, as it is just a page of pictures. I took my time assembling, using anti-seize on bolts and spray lube on other working parts. The only difficulty came when installing the cable end from the chute deflector onto the control handle. I had to file the bracket that holds the cable, as it would not fit. See photo. Engine came with oil in the crankcase. I do not like the way you have to check the oil with the small cap right next to the belt cover. Easy to cross thread when reinstalling cap. The dip stick attached to the cap is very small. I got on the ground to look into the crankcase with a flashlight to make sure it had oil, as the full line is only about 3/16" up on the dipstick. But I see this design on other engines I own, so not a con in my opinion. You can fill to the bottom edge of the hole. Actually can't overfill, it will just run out. I fueled it up with TruFuel 4 cycle. Double checked assembly diagrams. Started on second pull. Operation was good. As expected. Watch reverse, it's a little fast. I will update this review when I actually use it in snow.

Bought the unit this season to replace a Toro single stage that was still running great. Setup was pretty easy and the unit started up great right away. I've used it now for 3 snowstorms ranging from 4-9" each time and it definitely clears snow with ease. It also went right through a 36" snowplow wake which of course required a few passes to clean all up. Now the bad part. In only 3 uses, I've found two sheared off bolt heads of different sizes in the driveway. Nice new shiny bolt heads matching the Ariens hardware but I can't figure out where they are falling out from. The snowblower still runs great so it's a bad feeling knowing things are either breaking already or were broken during factory assembly and are now falling out. It's pretty bad I have to load this up and take it to a dealer now and be without the blower for who knows how long. Best option is to just take it back to Home Depot and get a refund.

Bought it on Tuesday. Was delivered on Wednesday, fully assembled. Snowed on Thursday. About 6 inches of fairly heavy snow. Started right up, ran fine, worked fine, fairly easy to operate and get used to (first time snow blower owner). Good throwing distance, which i need for a wide driveway. Did a good job of getting right down to the surface.

I purchased this snow blower in preparation for the Minnesota winter. I did quite a bit of research which led me to select this unit. The first is reliability. Many reviews on MTD, Cub Cadet, and Toro all seemed to be plagued with a variety of non-standard mechanical and maintenance issues. These issues were small, but everyone had to got through the manufacturer to resolve them, and some left the units inoperable until the issue was resolved ( seals, carburetor issues, clutch problems, fuel delivery...etc). The main points that I liked about this unit was that it was all steel, and had a chute angle adjuster cable control......other units have a manual setting where you have to loosen the tension on a bolt to adjust the angle of the snow being thrown. The other highlight is the shear pins......some cheaper units don't have them........so let's say your clearing snow and a piece of debris gets ingested into the augers.....units that don't have shear pins will get damaged, possibly destroying the auger gear box. The shear pins on this unit "shear" just like their name says. So, the pins break, and the mechanical components are not damaged. The unit comes with a spare set if you ever need to use them. Three neighbors of mine have this brand, and all swear by it, but they are really good about performing their seasonal maintenance once the season is over. Delivery was through Estes ( you have to call the local hub in your area to set an appointment. It seems you have to be proactive about this, my phone number and email wasn't sent over to them, so they had no way to contact me). The unit is shipped on a wooden skid and in a large thick cardboard box. Unboxing and assembly roughly took about 45 min and was straight forward. The hardware on my blower was attached to the machine, and in the location where it would be used....so no mystery bag of nuts and bolts...everything is right where it needs to be, you just have to take the bolts and hardware off and attach the pieces to assemble it.....a one person job, no question. My unit was also shipped with engine oil and gear oil in the auger case......I did read that not all units come this way, so just double check. Once it was all together I added some gas and it started right up. I did have to adjust then tension on the auger and drive cables, but that took all five minutes to get that squared away. This unit does not have a throttle adjustment to idle the engine down, so when it starts, it's at full throttle, not a big deal, it just isn't mentioned anywhere unless you actually go and see a unit in person. For a recap, great unit, reasonable price, and hopefully an investment that lasts a long time. Hope this helps!

The machine worked well but there were two issues with it. In the lowest forward setting it wanted to go in reverse. Secondly, after buying this brand new Ariens Snow Blower at the beginning of winter, plastic parts started breaking and falling off from under the levers on both handles after the 3rd time I used it. I brought the broken pieces back to Home depot to show them and they called Ariens for me. They said that it was a known issue and that they would replace the broken parts. They had several more of the identical units on the floor for sale knowing that they were defective and selling them to unsuspecting customers anyway. They wanted me to do all of the leg work to get their defective product repaired so I returned it just before the warranty expired. Their practice of selling machines with known issues upsets me. I decided to repair an old rusty two stage Snapper that has been sitting around in my shed for under a hundred bucks. For $700 you wouldn't expect it be made with plastic. C'mon Home Depot, you can do better than this!

Got a good 3 feet of snow April 14-15th here in Wisconsin 3 days after I received this Ariens machine in the mail in a timely fashion I’ll add since I ordered it only 10 days prior. This 24in beauty did the trick! I operated smart and that snow disappeared. This is Two driveways(one verywide)also live at a corner. $737 spent very well.

Easy to assemble, well built, and makes snow removal a breeze. I've only owned it for a couple months, but I've used it multiple times. The amount of adjustability in the chute allows me to put snow wherever I want and the electric start is amazing. Love the Ariens quality!

Ordered and delivered right to the house. It was professionally packed and arrived without any damage. Easy to assemble. Came with oil already added. It was a 5 star experience. Added gas, started on 2nd pull. I'm giving it 4 stars until I get to use it on snow.
