It has been a great addition to our deck and backyard. Feel stable and it is very good value for the price point, compared to getting custom stairs made. One part was missing, and Arke customer service sent us a replacement (wrong size first, then the correct size), so I'd recommend double-checking all parts when you open the box, and order anything that may be missing, first, to make sure your project timeline doesn't slip.

Assembly instructions were by hand drawn pictures which was not very accurate and clear. Extremely confusing and frustrating to assemble. Trail and error was the end result.

Lots of parts and pieces but well engineered and too hard to put together. It came in a fairly compact box so it was easy to transport to my customers home and get to its desired location. A pre assembled unit would have been very difficult in this application. Overall the customer was satisfied!

The standard kit is packed in one wood crate for ease of transport. The "staircase in a kit" has many parts as you noted, but it is designed to be more versatile and adjustable for installation than a pre-assembled unit. The staircase comes with installation instructions and an installation DVD to try to make the installation process easier. Just as I had anticipated it would be. The 55 in. Stair suited my needs and exceeded my expectations. From the beginning wasn’t sure and debated between the 55” and the 47 in. I’m so glad I opted for this one. The finish product was just how I had envisioned it would be. Perfect for my deck. Buy it!

spiral staircase
Stairway was easy to assemble and solved a space problem for my customer. It arrived on time and in a good sized create. the video was very helpful in showing the steps that are needed in order to assemble the stairwell. I will definitely purchase this item again and would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a quality spiral stairwell.
