Room Darkening blackout shades window blinds, thick fabric block light in design, energy efficient. Light weight and easy installation. Installation hardware is included for both inside and outside mount. Care instructions: Packing and shipping will typically cause the fabric of this product to wrinkle. First, allow all items to hang for a few days so that the wrinkles can relax and begin to fall out. If necessary, steam the shade on a low heat setting to remove stubborn wrinkles. However, be aware that if the temperature is too high, it could damage the shade. To clean the fabric on the shade, use a feather duster or vacuum lightly using the soft brush attachment.

AnswerYes, these can be hung outside of the window frame. You can either mount directly on the trim or on the wall. The hardware that comes with this shade is universal so it can be used in both inside and outside mount applications with the ability to back or top mount.

AnswerIn our opinion, this is a light gray. Color is extremely subjective though and the ranges of tone can vary depending upon who views the color. Also, limitations in scanning equipment coupled with variations from monitor to monitor it is hard to convey true color online.

If the inside of my window measures 31x37, what size do I need to order?

AnswerSince we sell exact sizes, you will want to order about 1/4" to 1/2" smaller than the inside recess of the window. So, ordering the 30.5" will work just fine. However, since your height is only 37" and the height of the shade is 60", there will be quite a lot of excess material at the base of the shade either hanging down or resting on the window sill. If you are okay with that, then this shade will work for you. But, if you will not like the look of the excess material, I would not recommend this shade.

These shade look custom made. The price is so reasonable at 53.00$ for a 34.5"w shade. They are so simple to install and work well with air conditioners, etc. Set tension automatically allows for smooth lifting and lowering of shade. The blackout feature is excellent and prevents sun and heat from entering room. One window gets the morning sun and this shade really helped. I would highly recommend.

These are great. I was not sure what to expect in regards to qualtiy but they are a nice very thick black out fabric. The best part is the ease of the way you simily touch the bottom to raise them up or down. No cords to deal with. I have already recommended them to a friend. Shipping was also so fast!!!
