crawl space @ 15 degree's and it dosnt work
Sorry I live in SE. Michigan and it's get's cold DEC/JAN FEB if the temp outside reaches 5 to 0 degrees my cold water pipe froze up.. I had to crawl under the house with a hair dryer to warm up the pipes.. going to install heat tape.. and Watch the Weather Channel..for low's

Dear Valued Home Depot Customer, We have reached out to the MFG and their response is listed below.
"To help prevent freezing of your pipes at below freezing temperatures, you would need to install a heat cable/trace as well. Once the heat trace wire is installed, ensure that the insulation is installed with all seams and joints completely sealed. The insulation will trap the heat from the heat cable to help prevent your pipes from freezing".

Product is acceptable. Sort of
These wraps are not fully cut. Only the top layer of foam is scored. That means you have to finish opening them yourself. Which takes time. On probably 50% of the wraps, the score is so shallow, that when I went to open them fully, they tear line went off to the side. This left a jagged tear. By holding the piece between my knees and using both thumbs to open, it seemed to work out all right. I believe this product will work and my pipes won't freeze, but it left something to be desired over the fully cut ones. Cheap though...

pipe insulation
we at EcoyEco love this product. simple and easy to use. it can save lots of money in a short time if you put these on your hot water line. Any dollar spent on insulation comes back 10-fold
