A: It depends on the load on the transformer. I have put in several of these. The farthest was about 60’. I used #12 Wire
A: I suggest getting a licensed electrician to answer that question. When I installed my tape LED lighting my electrician indicated how many of these to order and therefore, I have had no issues.
A: The answer to this question depends on a few factors, including wire gauge and the total wattage consumption of your lighting. Generally speaking, less lighting and thicker wiring permit longer wiring runs. If you have some project-specific information, our handy online voltage-drop calculator can help to provide a recommendation on what wire selection is appropriate: http://www.armacostlighting.com/voltage-drop-calculator/ For further assistance or advise specific to your project, please email email@example.com.
A: We do not offer a dimmable switch with a built-in LED power supply, however, we do have several dimming and switching options available based on your project needs. A standard 120V AC lighting dimmer can be used to control the input of your power supply when used with one of our dimmable units, like our 60-Watt AC Dimmable (homedepot.com item# 205397019). If switched household power is not convenient for your application, we also have a low-voltage 2-in-1 LED dimmer that is installed after the power supply, and can provide completely wireless on/off and dimming control of your lighting when paired with the RF Wireless Touchpad (homedepot.com item numbers 203227246 and 205884027). Please email our support staff with your project details, and we can provide you with additional configuration options that may meet your criteria for this application: firstname.lastname@example.org

We have 24-Watt (homedepot.com Item# 206697697), 45-Watt (homedepot.com Item# 206697709), and 60-Watt (homedepot.com Item# 205397019) models to choose from. Alternatively, you can dim lighting connected to this power supply, by combining it with our 2-in-1 LED Dimmer (homedepot.com Item# 203227246). Please contact email@example.com for more information.
A: This power supply is rated for a maximum load not to exceed 5 amps, at DC 12 volt that equates to 60 Watts. If each headlamp is rated at 60/55W, then you would only be able to power one lamp from a single power supply. Please enquire about larger power supply offerings with our staff at firstname.lastname@example.org
