Easy to install and has a warm natural glow.

Better than regular task lighting, added above my cabinets to enhance and show off my glassware. Easy to install with just removing the adhesive backing. Didn't need to cut or splice since it was one long set of cabinets. Clear instructions, but wish it came with a dimmer. Very happy with the effect in my kitchen, I don't have to always use the overhead light.

It was the perfect item that is reasonably priced and which arrived on time for our job.

If you are new to LED strip lights and want to add some accent lighting, don't be intimidated. The Armacost LED tape light kit is easy to install and use. I like that it is a dimmable LED. If you look at the 2nd pic below, temporarily set up for testing, all you have to do is plug it into a receiver, and in my case, utilize a remote to control on/off and bright to dim. It can also be hard-wired if you have the proper setup. You can cut it to size, or, cut and add the "Bridge gaps", short wires (2 included) to make tight turns. It is peel and stick; however, I bought a pack of "Strip light mounting clips", they are inexpensive and allow for easy changes. The hardest thing was do to the fact I didn't want to move the heavy entertainment center out. I made a template so the spacing of the clips would be uniform on the top and sides. Beware this can get addictive once you see how easy this is. LED is also very efficient. Pic 5 is at a very dim setting, 12:30 pm with no other lights on. Pic 6 is at a very bright setting 12:30 pm no other lights on.

The ARMACOST LIGHTING RIBBONFLEX HOME 16 FT. AC DIMMABLE LED TAPE LIGHT KIT, WHITE is very easy to work with and install. I am going to be installing it in our new office once the cabinets are finished, so for now I installed them on the top of my kitchen cabinets. They are very bright, I have to say. They come with connectors that are optional for using, they can span the gaps where cabinets are put together, or to be used around sharp corners. The connectors can be extended by cutting and adding the length of wire that meets your needs, say if you need to span across a window in between cabinets. The light strip can be cut to the length you need too. The installation instructions are very easy to read and understand, making it a breeze. I look forward to seeing it in our office.

I love good quality LED light strips and this one is definitely that. First the kit is completely ready to go with the LED ribbon, power supply and connectors. You can plug this in to any outlet or hardwire it directly to a dimmer switch. These lights are indoor rated, only, so don't use them outside but the uses are limited only by your imagination. I have LED tape lights under my cabinets where the cabinets meet the floor to add indirect lighting (for walking through the kitchen at night) and ambient light as well as in our shower niches (these are completely waterproof and this item is NOT) so you really are limited ONLY by your access to electricity. This item can be used under cabinets (above your counter) around recessed areas of your ceiling for a nice indirect lighting effect, under shelves in a closet or pantry, underneath a bar, really anywhere inside that isn't exposed to water or high humidity (like a bathroom). The light is warm white and the tape puts off a good amount without sucking up the power of incandescent bulbs and without generating heat, too. Easy to use, easy to set up and all of the connectors you need are included.

I've installed LED strip lighting before and while it works very well, it's a little complex with transformers and connectors. This system solves that with a transformer already included and the large reel already wired up. It would be good if this also included a dimming function. When installed I also use a frosted plastic cover to mute the individual LED's into a steady glow. We have them on motion detect under our kitchen cabinets, so they really make it nice to walk into the kitchen and have the lighting turn on, and then time out after we leave. Love them. My box was missing the connectors, so we had to use a third party to complete the job.

This strip light quickly went from, "What am I going to do with this" to"How did I ever do without it"? Checking it out on the bench, it seems sturdy, well made and versatile! You can cut it, make smaller sections of light or add another strip. At full brightness, it draws a mere 20 watts. You can adjust the brightness down to 2 watts. It can play a stobe light show, so I wouldn't put it in a vacation rental, it would drive your guests nuts! In considering where to install it, I considered using it for indirect lighting above an entertainment center, a head board structure above our bed or above the indoor hot tub, The answer was at my workbench: It was lit with 2 8 foot long lights, drawing a total of 160 watts! I replaced it with this strip light and am saving 140 watts!

I used this under my cabinets in my kitchen and they are amazing! I had no issues with flickering or humming like I've experienced with other LED lighting.

Installation of the LED strip took me longer to install beginning with wanting an accessory to string under the microwave so the LED's would not light the stove. Maybe that was a mistake, but I bought the wrong wires, and the clip used to connect the end of the wire. I included an image of the right ones. I had trouble with the install. You can cut the led strip to length, but the small wires that connect to the piece, those clips are an absolute pain to get on correctly. They pinched the cable and kept coming open. You are working under the cabinet, and the clip comes off after you stuck it to the back wall. I had some small wire holders leftover from a garage door installation, so I used them to hold the wires in place where the two cabinets come together. I also opened the electrical converter so I could drill my holes in the cabinets the width of the wire, and not the width of the plug. I also cut the 110 cord to length instead of having a bunch of rolled-up wire. Looks much more professional. Note: I had to buy a small #1 Phillips screwdriver for the converter box to get to the screws. When done it looks nice and my wife sure likes it. The remote works anywhere I put it so I am going to double face tape it to the side of the microwave. I’m happy with the product but keep in mind, it is not the easiest thing to install if you want it to look professional.
