Just Perfect for Me
I am in the process of moving into a beautiful new high-end condo. I have downsized from a huge house, and also changed my style from traditional to contemporary. Since the space is much smaller than I am used to, every detail is more important than ever. I searched all of the stores and websites that I could find, and kept coming back to this barstool. The scale, the comfort, and the glitz factor were what sold me on these stools. While I do wish that they were a little more cushy, they are certainly comfortable enough, and I love how the curved back creates kind of an elbow rest, when seated. They are also just the right height for my 36 inch tall island, and they swivel smoothly and easily. I wanted to avoid things looking too formal, so I decided to use both the gray and black colors, and I really like how that turned out. Home Depot delivered the stools very quickly. The boxes were a little torn up, and one of the stools was lacking the screws and nuts to attach it to the base, but a quick trip to the hardware store solved that problem. So, in spite of some small misgivings, I am very happy with this purchase. Please excuse the mess, in the background of the pictures - I have not yet completely settled in.

Do not buy
I purchased a similar bar stool about a year and a half ago from the same company. It is used in my home by my 12-year-old son who weighs about 110 pounds. The feet have plastic floor save caps. The floor savers have need to be replaced 2 times since purchasing their stools. The customer service at Armen is terrible and would not replace the floor savers and told me to figure it out on my own. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase any of their products
