AnswersIf installing over tile, I would suggest using an additional adhesive. I have this in my bathroom and I love it. BUT the adhesive is not super strong and I had to go back and add adhesive to the backs of a few of the tiles. I think because the moisture level in the bathroom. Make sure to put the tiles really, really tight together and flush with the wall. Mine started to separate a bit. Once I figured these tips out, I was very happy with my bathroom.

AnswersI would think so. I have it in my bathroom, and just added some extra adhesive so they stay in place if the floor gets wet. Make sure you install them very tight together as well.

AnswersI am very happy with the look of these floors but I did not put the tiles down myself. Certainly people who are handy install peel and stick tiles themselves, but too much effort for me to cut the edges to size, move the stove and fridge etc, so I was happy to pay a local handyman for installation. As for removal, I don't have any idea about that. Maybe contact Armstrong for that info.

AnswersAs long as the surface is relatively smooth it should be okay. One tile had a small piece of wood stuck to the underside and it protruded up and ruined the tile so I had to replace it (it was my fault, the wood wasn't from the tile itself. That said, the floor doesn't have to be perfect for these tiles, they are pretty resilient. Make sure to add a bit of extra adhesive if the surface isn't wanting to hold the tile in place.

Really wanted these to work since my rental apartment’s bathroom tiles have dirty grout and hairline cracks that I can’t seem to revive or hide. In theory this product has so much potential: nice pattern, simple installation... but it was the finish that had me return them. They have an awful texture that shows when light reflects—hard to explain, just see the photo. I agree with some of the previous complaints, like uneven and oddly colored “grout” (not great when you need a good line-up for these to be remotely passable as flooring). These are also quite gray in overall tone, not a bright white I expected. All that said... if these had more of a “flat” finish I may have kept these. I didn’t install and I’m unfortunately sticking with my original scratched up tile instead. My partner has pretty simple taste and he agreed that it looked cheap. Wanted to review this because I wasted hours trying to find a peel and stick and I’m a bit annoyed the photos didn’t show this, so hopefully this saves you some time.

Fairly easy to lay down tiles, easy to cut and place. The problem is a day later I noticed a gap between a lot of tiles! I followed the proper procedure, left them at room temperature for two days, butted each one against the other and took a rolling pin to ensure adhesion. I can only think the tiles buckled upwards after 24 hours, maybe the adhesive isn't strong enough? So now I have to get on my hands and knees all over again and grout the gaps, otherwise when washing the floor, and I will wait 5 days to do so, water can get between and under the tiles and well, you can figure the rest out.

As long as the temperature in the home was within the correct range the tile should not have moved. You may want to have a flooring associate file a claim for you. If the flooring actually buckled and caused the gaps, the flooring will not stay sound. Simply return to the store with your proof of purchase and have a flooring associate file a claim against the product warranty. Again I do apologize for the inconvenience. Have a great day.

Very happy the result of this tile. Very easy to install. BTW- the tiles look as though they can be laid down in any direction, but beware they can not. Pay attention to the grout thin thickness around the edges. They are not evenly cut. However you lay the first one down that is how you must lay all the others so that the grout line width stays consistent throughout. With the exception of 1 tile, I started with the edge that ran from thick at the top to thin at the bottom on the left side. As you can see in photo the minor mistake in placement is where the grout line is thinner than it should be. I made sure every tile was placed that same way. Also beware that they are not that easy to lift back up to make adjustments once put in place. The tiles are thin and crack easily if lifted wrong. If necessary lift both edges from side to side evenly until the entire tile is easily lifted straight up. One box of 45 sq ft covered my small guest bath and linen closet. It was a cheap solution to my DIY bathroom refresh. My first and last diy floor install only because I am too old to be on my knees and bent over now, but I would recommend this tile.

I installed this product for a customer who was on a budget and am extremely disappointed with the results. In spite of following prep instructions to the letter and installing on a level surface, about half of the tiles are peeling on the corners only a few days after installation. I am concerned that this product will not last through the year much less the 10 years advertised for 'active' residential use. As I was installing I also found that the printed grout lines on the edge of each tile differ in width. Even though I tried to rotate the tiles to match the thickness of the grout lines they still don't line up and appear as though the tiles were installed incorrectly. Overall I am not satisfied with these tiles and would not recommend them to anyone regardless of their budget. In reading through other reviews the company's suggestion is to return defective product to the store, but I'm not sure how to proceed with this since it is already installed.

Good morning Nick. Thank you for taking the time to post a review of our product. We are unhappy to hear that you are having an issue with this floor tile. If the subfloor was properly prepared, the flooring was properly acclimated, and the floor was rolled with a 100 pound roller after installation, the tiles should not be coming loose. The tiles are warranted against edge curl. Being that the tile is already installed the claims process would involve returning to the store with the proof of purchase for the flooring, as well as the invoice for the installation. Some photos of the problem would also be helpful. Have a flooring associate reach out to Armstrong to start the claims process. Again I do apologize for any inconvenience. Have a great day.

We just wanted to spruce up our kitchen as we were selling our home. The old flooring was a similar peel and stick tile but cracked and outdated. This flooring was easy to down by myself and, other than making some mistakes in measuring cuts around doorframes, went very smoothly. A beautiful traditional look and more appealing than the fake wood grain floating floor that's everywhere now. I would use this same tile again in a kitchen or bath.
These tiles was very easy to install. Easy to clean and looks really nice in bathroom.
