Does this work for brown rice?

I really like this item. I bought it since I needed to replace my old one(aroma brand as well ;). I use it almost everyday to make rice, beans, soups. It cooks really well. I do recommend it.

Easy to use and versatile
I was looking for a rice cooker that could also be used as a slow cooker. I didn't want to purchase another instant pot. Initially I was reluctant to purchase this pot because of the lack of reviews, and higher price. I am so glad I purchased it. I used the smartcarb method. I put in 2 cups of rice into the carb-reducing pot using the included measuring cup, rinsed it, added water to line 2 for white rice and turned it on. I didn't know how long it would take to cook, so it was finished way before the rest of the meal. It didn't boil over or make a mess on the counter as some other low priced rice cookers. It switched over to keep warm automatically. We finally ate after it was on keep warm for 45 minutes. To my surprise, the rice was beautiful, fluffy and delicious! No brown spots on the bottom since it is being steamed on the keep warm function. Can't wait to try the other functions.
